Blue Eyed Cod are considered one of the best-eating fish. A good number of quality fish caught on the day. Unusual to see you fishing out of a boat. The underwater shots added to the video. I was unable to identify Browns Mountain but found 12 mile reef approximatyely 18 klms off Sydney. Current NSW (Newcastle) weather conditions are keeping me off the water. We live near the top of a hill & have no fear of being caught in flash floods etc. When (whenever) the weather settles I will launch the kayak on Lake Macquarie & hopefully catch a few quality fish. Thanks for sharing.
Blue eye cod is ok, not my favourite deep sea fish, it has texture very much like chicken. In my opinion there are much better eating species like ocean perch, alfonsino, pelagic armorhead and gemfish. Browns is approx 24 miles out from Sydney
