A great video! I absolutely love the diorama. It looks like it has jumped off the pages of the graphic novels. It really suits those amazing miniatures from Warlord Games. You’ve done a great job, mate! Oh and the narration voice over was great way of giving background on the Judge Dread universe (nicely done, Gordon!).
Thanks! I haven't heard the narration as I cringed so hard at the sound of my voice my earholes sealed shut... But I had fun writing it. Glad you liked it!
Been into Judge Dredd since I was about six and my nan didn't really understand the nature of the comic she was buying for me when we visited her XD This is AWESOME! Might have to pick up some Judge Dredd minis myself! Really grand job, boss! (also, the Dreg voice was FIRE XD)
Haha thanks Steve 😀 it was so much fun to make. Yep it’s such a dark and violent setting, go nan! 🤣 Oh man, after 30 seconds of doing that voice I was croaky for the rest of the day. Gordon and I sent recordings back and forth to one another trying to out Dredd each other. Mistakes were made 😅
Hey thanks for letting me know! I love making dioramas now so I’m keen to find a way of bringing them into the channel and keeping it interesting for those who usually just want to see a 40K model get painted, so I appreciate the feedback!
You had me a steel door in some rocks really going after my heart lol! I really like the mix of technique with the story telling. This is something Ive struggled with with my stuff as there are only so many ways to say you put paint on rocks before it feels "samey" lol.
Haha when I was like “how do I make a diorama?” I had flashbacks to all your steel doors 😅 so many tips and ideas poached from you and keep your videos coming so I can learn more 😆 Oh man so true. I’m trying to find ways to make videos without saying ‘I’m applying a brown wash to the area…’ another 100 times this year
Nice diorama. If I had a criticism, it would be that the building looks a little too neat and clean. Overall as well, I think including a fair bit more detail at ground level would introduce more visual interest.
Hey thanks for taking the time for not just giving me feedback but also for pointing in the right direction on improvements for my next diorama 👍 I’m still learning so I’m taking it all onboard.
Hello , how are you? I'm wondering, do you make sponsorship agreements with brands on your TH-cam channel? For example, does a 3D printer manufacturer want you to send a 3D printer to you and promote it, or to make prints with a 3D printer and show this device on your channel? How many thousands of subscribers should a TH-cam channel have in order to make sponsorship agreements with brands? How many dollars or euros does your TH-cam channel earn from ads per 1000 views?
Hey there, good questions and the answer changes for each creator. You will be able to find a lot of this info online and in dedicated TH-cam videos about content creation. But yep, some brands do reach out for sponsorships and there are also networking sites to help you pair with brands. My advice would be to focus on channel growth before worrying about sponsorships. My channel is still quite small so others will be able to give you better advice. How much you earn from ads depends on lots of factors including what topic your videos are and how much advertisers would want to spend. My experience so far is to do it for the love of it because I’d never be able to make a living off it 🤣🤌
Thanks Gordon for the creative story and narration 😀 What did you guys think of the video? And here is our Patreon! patreon.com/FlashingBadgerPainting

Yes & Yes! You diorama game is growing stronger!
So much respect for you guys. I see how much time and effort goes into them now compared to when I paint one small mini 😅

Fantastic! Really hope you give ABC Warriors a playthrough on the channel. It's a great game and plays similar to Dredd
Really cool diorama. 👍
Thanks 😀
I loved the video and backstory!
Hey thanks for letting me know! I’m keen to make more but need to make sure people enjoy them first so I appreciate the feedback 😀

Loved it. Can we have more info about how you made the diorama as well pls 😁👍
Sure thing! I have more dioramas on the way so I’ll make sure I cover that process in some more detail 🤟
