I know it's not pleasing to God when we speak ill of the Lord's annointed. It made me sad to hear Peter, Adam and Eve and others mocked (the people next to you). The talk would have been entertaining in a worldly comedy club, but I came to feel the spirit, be inspired and edified. I stayed, thinking this has got to get better, but was disappointed. The speaker had great confidence and I'm sure has given great speeches and done great and wonderful things. I personally felt grieved by this talk. I couldn't help but cringe as he mocked the Lord's anointed. I believe this talk grieved the Savior and wasn't condusive to the spirit. It's sometimes funny to hear shocking things, but that doesn't justify mocking the Lord's anointed. I don't like to hear people make light of sacred things. I know many may mock me for my thoughts and feelings, but I believe we need to be willing to speak the right, when so many are eager to preach good for evil and evil for good. This talk broke my heart to hear from a church pulpit.

I have given a lot of thought to your comment. I have followed Matt for several years and I can tell you that he has been able to reach me like no one else has with my problems and my deepest concerns. I don't think he was mocking the Lord's annointed, I think he was showing us that Jesus gathered people with problems around him. That it is OK if we have problems if even his apostles did. At first I just listened to his talk. Then I went back and wrote down his message. It is a message no one else has ever been able to give me. It was an incredible talk. Relisten to it and ignore the comedy, it is a monumental talk in my opinion. I was able to get just what I needed out of it and I think you may too if you ignore the humor. I think his humor is refreshing to me as sometimes to hear a talk without a little humor puts me to sleep. We are all different and I think that is Matt's PARADOX
