What you said about identity; with your mum as the example, was significant. Much of my identity also came from being a mother. As a single parent without spousal help or family support; most of my time, energy, and resources were devoted to the cause of raising healthy, happy, productive children. After losing an adult son; my identity was shattered. I could not, after all, protect him from death. After taking years of intentional, active grieving of his death; i began rebuilding my life and identity from a fresh perspective. Included in that process is learning about what i want and need from life for myself. I have a great zest, and appreciation for life. I believe that listening to you (which i find entertaining), as well as a few other reputable dating coaches is helping me see things from a well balanced and hopeful perspective. I am a young, attractive, middle aged dating candidate living in a time of a rather interesting and changing dating culture. There is immense opportunity going forward in life! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, experience and chatacter!
Matthew it’s like you have touched something very deep inside me when you said how you beloved one frustrated you when she said you’re boring 😕 .... I experienced a very similar situation and I know how it feels! 😥😢 . But the good thing about this is we remember it as the thing that pushed us to move forward 😊

the host of the show seems to have a hard time really listening to the people he is talking to... yes he goes silent but he zones off and interrupts them when he comes up with a new thought.
Yeah. I didn't like how he immediately went after his co-host like "what's the thing that gives YOU confidence Danielle?" and then when it came back to him, he just said "I think I'm a pretty well-rounded guy". I don't really understand talk show hosts who honestly believe that people really care about them when it's actually the guests that are important.

Mathew discuss more about men meeting online who are intellectuals and gentlemen but prefer that women speak to them with respect and be prudent in their words. This is a Professional Engineer in his 50s/ A man who states he cannot be cajoned not knowing what direction the wind blows!!

Matthew, next time please sign a contract with your interviewers that they will remain silent unless they have your permission to speak, and even then, what they say has to be relevant and to the point! Elvis, please do some research on how to do a better show!

I love this vid and info. And yes, this Elvis dude is f*cking annoying, yet the 2 clips on his show are the best I've seen from Matthew. Maybe he just does better in a 'being interviewed' setting than on his own. Some people are like that, and need someone there to get us going and get us to deliver top quality. Matthew himself once admitted he is not a natural, so it would make sense that a good sidekick brings out the best of him. On his own is okay, but the stuff that he's come up with in these 2 vids with annoying Elvis Duran is really some of Matthew's best. Also much much better than the radio show he does on his own.
