- Got the tilta hydra alien rig this past summer and have been learning and making modifications to it. Most of the shots in this video are from it and there are a few handheld shots.

We got some great shots this past year, this year is gonna be even better 🙌
Man this is insane!! I absolutely was in it the whole time. Dope edit! I like how you hit em with the switch up on my old and new subie 😅😮💨🥲
You actually made Raleigh look cool..
Mostly everything was shot between Winston-Salem and Raleigh, and a few shots from myrtle beach
Great shots! Do you have a favorite focal length?
My main lens is the 24-70, I usually prefer using it around 50mm but I put a gear on the zoom ring and use a focus motor to change it while moving
great shots, 1:08 was my favorite with the datsun what mods did you make? Is the unit and suction cups reliable overall? Do you use safety straps?
I always use a safety strap or 2, I've only had one suction cup loose suction but with the straps and other two cups in didn't move. The only mod i have made to the rig is the shock absorber. There is some photos on my instagram of it.
@@trey0mckee thanks, any other advice? Which straps do you use
@@exoticcarlife2904 i just use the strap that came with it and some small ratchet straps with hooks depending on how its mounted
This is truly beautifull. We're looking to get the hydra alien for out prod company and I think you just sold it to us
It is a great piece of gear
@@trey0mckee The shots of the lexus with the leaves is unreal
what camera was this shot on? also your tilta hydra alien looks great, no jitter or anything. Is it the version 2 hydra alien or some other mods you did to the dampener?
I was using the sony a7siii with the 24-70mm lens. I have modified the the original damper with longer wire cable. I have a photo of it on my instagram. There were a few shots before I modded it and they would have noticeable jitters with lights on cars
