Loved the backflip at the beginning GIMMIE A BEATTT I can't this video is so legendary and iconic especially to pop/new jack swing culture. I guarantee you if social media/TH-cam was around in the 70s and 80s Janet, Michael and the jacksons would be 10x bigger. Especially with the music videos really short films cuz Janet and Michael are some of the rare artists that actually make longer music videos well really short film and theirs actually storylines like a film and actually choreographed stuff .. and Janet being on good times/different strokes etc... (Shows still thought of and still iconic especially great representation of poc and to ppl in general some of the few shows in the 70s/80s that actually discussed serious topics in the right ways/didn't joke about it.) The dance break in this video is so good. For sure! She didn't naturally have the singing and dancing skills like her brother, but she worked her ass off and had a career that basically matches his. For sure! She didn't naturally have the singing and dancing skills like her brother, but she worked her ass off and had a career that basically matches his. It's from this album and you can probably find articles on what she put herself through to film that stunning video! It's incredible!
