    It's the best looking case in 2023. All cases have glass they look like microwaves.

      I got the one with the glass only let the GPU and CLC with lights and it's tinted so it looks awesome as well with minimal RGB love this case.

      I'll be using this case for my build soon. I hate RGB lights, don't see the point of them. When I am using my PC, I want to see the monitor and not be distracted by other lights.

    This is a good but not outstanding case. The extra price you pay if you want the stylish appearance. I was researching this case and found your channel, congratulations! Good pace on descriptions and comments plus technical information. It seems to be hard to find one channel with good balance between observation and technical analysis.

    Seems like a decent case that is a bit expensive, but if someone likes the unique aesthetic, it has enough features and a good enough build quality to make it a reasonable purchase.
    I'm not looking to build anytime in the next year but just from a visual standpoint, this case will be one I'm considering whenever my next build comes around.
    Great review as always!

      Was just in Micro Center Detroit saw the case and bought it on spot. No idea if it was any good just like the walnut wood. Turns out its not a bad case. I got the black no glass unit.

      Great instincts there. For a random buy you got an awesome case!

      As someone who recently bought this case (Chalk White version) and built my new rig into it, I agree completely with your summary. It is definitely a very good case, no doubt, but there are beyond all doubt better cases out there, for less money. There are roomier cases, cases with better features, better/more fan mounting points/airflow. But none look even remotely as good as the North.
      For me it's all about the aesthetics, which I find stunning, and it blends ridiculously well into my home office aesthetic where I have egg shell white walls, my desktop is solid oak and my shelving system is solid oak - almost identical color and nuance to the wood slats in the front of the North. The combination of being a very good case - just not _great_ - and unique and classy looks made it a no-brainer for me.
      If for whatever reason I lost my current North build I'd get another North in an instant. Wouldn't change a thing. I honestly couldn't be happier.

      Not sure where people are seeing this at $150, Everywhere I look is $120-$130
      Just got mine delivered and for a case that looks this nice and scores decently well overall, $130 ain't bad imo

      @@TheWiiplay I got the Fractal North and I am very pleased.
      I have a Ryzen 9 5900X and a RTX 3080 Asus TUF
      Also installed a Arctic Liquid Freezer 360 radiator in front.
      I got it because the design is just so much more nice. You can put this in your living room without it being an eyesore

    so the h510 flow would be a better choice, price to performance wise. i own a s340 elite currently and im looking to upgrade my whole pc and im choosing between the 510 flow and north mesh with a +-40 euro difference between the two

    • @AVTechy
      @AVTechy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I'd say that's the right call.

      @@AVTechy we dont have a 510 flow sadly. i assume the h5 flow is almost the same in performance

      I would never in a million years choose the h510 flow over the north if your using an AIO. Bear that in mind.

    I got the dark one with glass when I bought my msi 4080. I measured beforehand and it fit. But the special mounting bracket of the video card was about an inch and a half longer than the card. It poked through the front metal panel where the fans attach. Luckily it lined up with the long slit for the fan screws so it looks like a metal tongue sticking out. Had to adjust the fan locations which made them look uneven so I had to turn off the rgb to the front fans. But but it's so pretty! And cyberpunk is all bam boom bash kapow! My friends are all like 'whoooaaaa'. And my enemies cower like dogs. Ha ha suckas.

    I was considering this one. But I changed my mind after watching your video.
    I really need a pc case (ATX) within a 100€ budget that has excellent airflow, low noise and minimalist design (not a fan of RGB). Can you recommend something ?

      Take a look at anything from Fractal, Be Quiet, and Lian Li. Corsair also have a pile of contemporary designs. I think there's more out there than most people think since RGB has seemingly taken over.

      fractal pop mini silent... fit and finish is par but obviously its a component restricting case.

    I'm building in this now and I love it! Gorgeous case, extremely well built. I was looking for a no-frills case that is somewhat compact, no RGB and air cooled. I think this case fulfills that objective.

    • @TKrisz97
      @TKrisz97 ปีที่แล้ว

      That is my goal too... did you use the additional side vents? I think i will put halo lighted vents there but just there the other fans will be Indrustial Noctua fans with 2000 rpm i think

      I tough my pc case that my dad got for me for my 18 birtday was HUGE! I was scared my pc could not fit into this case but when i measured the vase it was the same size as this. And i noticed that the front panel of the case is compleatly sealed off. NICE

    Wonder how much these numbers changes with the XL version. Also on the comment on value - value is subjective - a nice design and build quality are far more valuable to me than number of HDD cages for example !

    Hi, would you consider making a review of the Lancool 216? Qurious about your opinions on it.

    • @AVTechy
      @AVTechy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably not tat this stage. I think I missed the boat on that one. It may be something I go back to in the future if there's a drought in the case releases, but unfortunately I think the channel would do better with the latest releases like this North, and the Terra.
      Lian Li cases always do well for videos long term, so you never know, but I wouldn't hold your breathe waiting for me a make a review if you're looking to get one.
      I covered the 215 if that's any consolation, but I don't know if they're significantly different (probably are).
