No this doesn't mean u are bad programmer. U are doing great job in ur age cuz u have decided earlier what u have to do.And don't listen other's nonsense,if u have passion for coding and programming then the path is open.Coding is not easy and this will happen to 1-2 years and then ur skills in question solving will become great and this will happen only cuz of practice u have done 1-2 years. So don't get demotivated and first learn basics of language then go for CS50. Hope it will help.

Hello Mada, I am a Senior SWE. Not being able to solve beginner problems when you are first starting out is completely and totally normal. Who is able to solve a math problem or a physics problem on their first try? If you wait until you are good at a skill to begin training it, you will never get better at anything or grow any skills. Learning how to program is a lot like learning how to play the piano. You have to do daily practice and complete many exercises before you can play a song without errors and sound good. The same goes for programming. The important thing about the problems you aren't able to solve, is that you understand why the solution works and what lesson it has to teach you. You have to actively engage your mind to understand it and use a blank sheet of paper to explain it to yourself if you have to. Then, now that you understand the problem and the solution, you go and solve the problem without referencing the solution, making sure you understand each step. We all started at banging our head against the wall and it is an experience you will encounter again and again. Learning sometimes can be like laying siege to a castle. You have to do wave after wave and assault after assault until those castle walls come crumbling down. Eventually you do this enough and it becomes easy. Lastly, two things. One, make sure you keep consistent focus the entire time you are looking at the problem. Don't allow yourself to get distracted. Set a timer for 20, 30, 60, 90 minutes, whatever, and don't do anything but give complete and total focus to the task at hand. Two, get enough sleep and take breaks after 90 minutes of straight studying. The brain needs time to rest so that it can make make new connections and grow from what it has learned. You will be surprised how something that made absolutely made no sense, makes a lot of sense the second time around after you came back from a walk or exercised. That is the way to progress my friend. Good luck.
