One of my favorite REN singing songs is Fred Again Mashup. It’s another mashup of an EDM artist Fred Again. REN took 5 of his songs and mashed into one. It’s very different than the original songs because like I mentioned the originals are EDM. Just a suggestion if you want more of singing REN. But honestly anything you pick is amazing. Yes, this is the same guy who did “Hi Ren” Back on ‘74 was released only last year by the band Jungle - two school friends from England. America has been sleeping on UK music ever since it industrialized the music industry to fit into neat little genres - it’s easier to mass produce that way. Now all you get to hear are things like Taylor Swift. You should react to more UK music - they’re still keeping it real.

Ren just shared on Patreon the vocal exercises he does every day. Whe he was singing with the Big Push he sang every day and was able to maintain, but now he has to really do the work. Would love yoy to react to his song Wade in the Water/Trouble so Hard,/ Nina Simone with the Big Push.
Ren's music was forged in the fire of pain and it shows in songs like hi ren and violets tale. And it's brilliant but I'm also glad that Ren is able to transcend that pain and not always be forced to express his music only through that struggle. This is a great example of his talent coming through despite his illness.
It's cool that you appreciate all aspects,not only Ren's vocal range,techniques and rhyme schemes,but also that of the other contributing artists,it's awesome to see.I imagine you will start to comment more about the videography and production elements too as you experience more of his work(Ren also produces and makes most of his own beats, worth knowing for when you get to the more hip hop focused tracks). I would have asked how familiar you were with the original tracks,but you kindly covered that also,at the end,so thanks so much for that. Great format and editing. 👍🏼 Ren's immaculate timing and use of percussive and rhythmic vocal stylings is rare. His theatrical performances are so natural and expressive. He is a wealth of study material because of his versatility.
This is my first time seeing you and I want to be a bit audacious: I think you're ready to take the next steps, whatever they are. You have a really broad calm underlying your process, perfect for 'riding the storm' (of performance). The way you went back and back into the song shows a real interest in what music is for, and what it is. Nobody is going to point out their own sweaty lip and then spend another 20 minutes going after a song unless they like what they do. If you were my student I'd tell you to go perform 500 hours in front of as many people as possible and keep looking for what it is deep inside you want to say. I think you have both things (The will, and something deep to say). Really impressed with what seems nascent in you.

Even though I was told my whole life my grandmother was half Native American, half Irish, when I did my dna testing it said I was like .3% Native American which doesn’t make sense. So, yes, but not as much as I thought haha. Those are two dream catchers given to me as gifts I think mainly because I call my home studio my Dream Lab where I chase my musical dreams.
