You see it all the time on TH-cam. Armchair quarterbacks. Problem is there’s no way that the TH-camr can show the entire process. So people just assume. And that well… Pretty tough word! Makes a fool of a lot of people
You are truly blessed not to have any deer, wild hogs or other feral animals eating your vegetables. They would definitely have a premium choice. Blessings for all you do.
Ohio. Plenty of water for crops planted on raised beds with drip irrigation but open fields are in severe drought conditions currently with no overhead irrigation.
Just started watching Seriously people are questioning your judgement how many years have you been doing this everybody has their own way of doing things
Well, my wife loves working in her landscaping, but hates being married to a vegetable farmer, it’s different when you eat, breathe and sleep vegetables for a living, you stop enjoying it as much
What do you contribute to the exceptional peppers this year mine were loaded up to and exceptionally large this year and I’m in North Carolina so it’s not like we’re neighbors????
They can definitely be bad and late in the summer they start getting out of hand and certain spots so the only thing I can really do is rotate out of that field for a couple years, which is what I plan to do.
Good eye, that is an old airplane tire that has been flat on there for over a decade and still holding up great! I forget how many ply it is, but obviously it’s a lot. We would have to saw it to get it off, local tire places in town won’t touch it.
@@wishwellfarms I realized that about 2 minutes after I sent in the message. Got caught up in the pepper harvest and forgot to remove it. Thanks for the information
Those are an invasive weed called morning glory that we battle every year, and they’re not supposed to be there. We keep them under control for most of the spring and summer, but by mid August it’s hard to control them.
There are some morons out there - somebody actually thinks they need to guide you on your crops - ridiculous!! 🤯 Great video - as always!! God bless y'all! 🥰🙏👍
Well excuse me. I made a comment on what I saw based on my experience of picking thousands and thousands of the bloody things. I guess the rockmelons might be a bit different to what we grow where I live but I object to being called a moron you WANKER!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I take it personal and I'm also a bloody Veteran so some respect is needed.
The pepper varieties that I grew this year: Red Fish and PS 09941819
Total respect for your minimalistic crew that works so hard to get the job done, which is based upon experience from a master of produce.
Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Wonderful farming video and YES that was a huge red pepper🌷🌷
I love the flowers mixed in with the pepper plants! Peppers look amazing!
Unfortunately, those are an invasive weed species called morning glory that wreak havoc on our vegetable farm.
I love me some cantaloupe, great videos. I am a farmer myself. It’s nice that you educate the public. Keep up the great work.
It amazes me how people think they know more about your business than you do……
I was thinking the same thing. They must have slept at a Holiday Inn 😉
@@JLRobbinsAhahahaha!! You're right!!
Those people are morons. Jason is amazing!! 🌟👍🌟

Ah yes, all the "experts" out there in TH-cam land. 😂

Interesting take on the subject. I’ll look into this more.
Peppers look amazing!
Holy giant red ones!
You are truly blessed not to have any deer, wild hogs or other feral animals eating your vegetables. They would definitely have a premium choice.

I always thought green bell peppers grew as green bell peppers by themselves as well as the red and yellow 🤔 learned something new today 😀
I really like your farm. From melon harvest to big peppers. They are amazing 🎉🎉
your peppers are so perfect like they were designed by Leonardo da Vinci.Absolutely wild !
I love eating bell peppers. The plump, ripe, red bell peppers always attract me.
Fantastic harvest in the pepper field Jason they look great I can hear the pride in your voice top job.😊😊😊
Wow, I’m truly in awe of those peppers. Way better than mine this year. Nice work.
СПАСИБО ЗА ВИДЕО. Смотрю Вас не в первый раз, какие Вы молодцы труженики, здоровья Вам и успехов.
Your farm is amazing. Have a nice day
Thanks!
Great job. As a fellow farmer, you have a wonderful yield.
I love the young mans shirt!
I love your videos. My family used to truck farm for a living back in the seventies. I loved picking peppers, especially in a good year.
Truck farming is a lot of work but very rewarding, Thanks!
I have never grown peppers that nice. Great video. Thanks
Thanks Mike, hopefully they’ll keep coming on good for the next few weeks!
This work is why you have some real guns going! Beautiful harvest!

I need to know the closest farm market that you go to in relation to Grafton. I would make the trip! Great job!! I learn something new each video!!!
😊😊😊😊😊
What variety are the peppers? Look great.
👍It was in the video, but I also put it in the description and added to the pinned comment
What state is your farm in? Do you have plenty of water for your farm? I love your channel. My name to left.
Ohio. Plenty of water for crops planted on raised beds with drip irrigation but open fields are in severe drought conditions currently with no overhead irrigation.

You have a cool barn and I am not referring to temperature. Do you have a brand logo?
yep, it's on the thumbnail of each video in the bottom corner normally
I wonder what it would be like to be married to a farmer. I love gardening so would it be like gardening 24/7? Lol
Well, my wife loves working in her landscaping, but hates being married to a vegetable farmer, it’s different when you eat, breathe and sleep vegetables for a living, you stop enjoying it as much
That piece looks like an old chain idler, like on a manure spreader.
I think you might be right
What do you contribute to the exceptional peppers this year mine were loaded up to and exceptionally large this year and I’m in North Carolina so it’s not like we’re neighbors????
many things I suspect, lots of sunshine and heat, good irrigation and plenty of preplant fertilizer...I didn't even fertigate this year!
How big of an issue are the morning glories? You guys seem to have a lot of them.
They can definitely be bad and late in the summer they start getting out of hand and certain spots so the only thing I can really do is rotate out of that field for a couple years, which is what I plan to do.
U should install a reverse alarm on ur forklift!!!! For safety of course...
what's your secret for having clean melon fields?
pulling weeds, plastic mulch on the beds and spot spraying areas of weeds that get out of control in the aisles ways
Looks like your front left tire on your trailer is almost flat, unless it was the camera angle or light angle..
Good eye, that is an old airplane tire that has been flat on there for over a decade and still holding up great! I forget how many ply it is, but obviously it’s a lot. We would have to saw it to get it off, local tire places in town won’t touch it.
Can your brother use some of the veggies with blemishes in his salsa?
Better left in the field to compost and make the soil better
he doesn't have peppers in his salsa, but we do use them in our sweet pepper relish but we are not quite ready for it yet
I also farm produce in Ohio, central for me. I’m taking over the family business. Would love to opportunity to ask you some questions!
email me at jason@wishwellfarms.com
Blade from an old flail chopper?
I think so
What's the name of the peppers
haha, you didn't watch the entire video, lol, Red Fish and PS 09941819

FYI...Ohio Tourism running ads in Chicago area
It looks like you have flowers with your vegetables? Why?
Those are an invasive weed called morning glory that we battle every year, and they’re not supposed to be there. We keep them under control for most of the spring and summer, but by mid August it’s hard to control them.
Oh they have a pretty flower! 🌸
It looks like a flail hammer - blade, but does not match Deere or Ferguson, maybe Ford or Caterpillar.
could be!

You can feed a party of 10 with just one pepper.
