@@Fawnfreckle no idea! XD in my fan tribe I made them slightly smaller (around the same size as Rainwings) and they had excellent climbing abilities and often didn’t fly. And then had many eyes, and a sort of spiky fur stuff on some places, they also had night vision and could spin webs (that was before I read about Silkwings)
I wish the seawings could breathe a substance from their mouths like other tribes one time I made a head canon that in the past seawings could shoot torrents of water from their mouths as long as they had enough water in their system but this ability was lost to time cause of reasons

@@Hydroux4915 I think the SeaWings should be able to spray boiling water like the Scauldrons from How to Train Your Dragon. But tbh I kind of like the fact that they don’t have a “breath.” It prevents them from being OP.
@@brooke9446 I agree but how would seawings be op if they had a mouth attack? Honestly sea wings are one of the weakest tribes, sure in water they’re unmatched but out of water all they have is brute strength and their tails. Meanwhile Icewings and Rainwings have insta kill moves if they hit you right, Mudwings are bulkiest tribe and can have fire proof scales and mud heals them anyway, Skywings have the hottest fire and are the fastest flyers, and Sandwings have stinger that ensures death if you don’t get the cacti to cure it.
Because of how Tsunami’s legs are positioned on her body on The Lost Heir’s cover, I spent the entirety of my time with this series until I saw book 9’s cover thinking Seawings had fins instead of hind legs. I thought they were slithering this entire series😅
Watching this video made me even more excited for what happens to the dragons in Arc 3 (I hope they everything goes okay and that they get a happy ending)
What I like most about SeaWings is their ability to survive both in water and on dry land, even though they seem more at home in the water. Furthermore, they appear to be better swimmers than fliers. They should be equally adept at both.
I’d like to state, that two sky wings did not die. It stated in Darkstalkers legends that Sunset died but Eagle managed to survive the attack, and report to Queen Carmine.
Tui is also thinking about doing snakewings and possibly some more insect types as well such as Mothwings. I also think that tui was thinking of batwings
I love these so much ! It feels we are all in jade mountain learning and you are our tribe teacher. I have one question as I am to follow to the lore when I make sea wing dragons, their colours come in blue, green sometimes indigo. But what colour is Albatross? If his colour white/grey. Is this rare? Or an error on the creators part?
It was also after the royal seawing massqer that the skywings started killing there animus dragons out of parnoia. That let to the execution of the mother of one of my origanal characters named Crow who is skywing nightwing hybrid like Charcoal ( i just like that hybrid combo ). The Skywings had even prior to that tried to kill Crow because of the hybrid thing. Crow after does to insedences hates all pure blooded Skywings.
The others tribe to make is : Icewing, Leafwing, Hivewing and Silkwing (Beetlewing are not elligible since we know so little thing about them !). Just one question .... Will you make a "A Closer Look" about the Scavengers/Humans !? Because humans are also a tribe by themselve despite not being dragons but they have so many impact and importance in final in the events of the universe that is not possible to not make a video about them. Their story is complex, intriging, interesting, and all the humans characters show to us and we know so far are also all attractive in their own way. Most of them are well written too ! Same for the Dragonslayer Book personnally (even if, like you said oftently, there some discutable weaknesses here and here). It's also a little an obligation to make a video about them because they are us, our own specie, in the serie and even if at the start of the franchise, they were mean to have little background without interest roles before to received with time more importance and background, they are still alway a element of the franchise to speak about. I appreciate, also, their development througouht the franchise, book after book, because with some recul, us, reader, can find pretty boring and sad (especially for young kids since the books are first for them) to know that humans like us, our own specie, exist in WOF universe, where there dragon in first roles, and only be snack and sulfur pains, defenseless entities without interest since the majority of they appearances are to be resume of human hunted scenes or excecution scene with oftently quick but hard death for them... So yes, I think that was a clever idea put in the books to change all this the author made, to make the with time main entities with impact in the mains event of the mains books story, because since we are all the same specie we imprinted on them. If human in WOF were replace by an other humanoid race like goblins or somethig like that (and by nature really disgusting, stupid and despicable creature) that would not be the case and we would not have problems around what the dragons have as relations with them. Plus, most of the humans character who has the most view and impact of the franchise are woman/girl, so it's cool to see a litle touc of feminisim in addition (Rose/Flower and Wren are so iconic !).

Fun fact: Wanna know how Whirlpool has a ring that goes through the webs in his talon? Rings on a Seawing act just like earrings! They pierce a small hole in the web, and then put the right sized ring through it.
We're not going to mention that Pearl didn't have errors right so indigo one of her three children probably ended up being Queen which means it's probably clear pool cuz I think she was the only girl and the other two were calorie and ripple And clear pool was named after clear fight
I had an idea for a new continent with 6 new tribes without one theme CloudWings, RockWings, FireWings, AbyssWings, JetWings and ToxicWings CloudWings are soft like RainWings and are looked down upon RockWings are strong, bulky and great fighters FireWings are just as simple as the name suggests. I think they can have firescales that turn on and off AbyssWings are the NightWings of this continent, and control a wormhole between the continents and other planets JetWings are the SkyWings of this continent, and can fly at supersonic speeds, hence the name ToxicWings are poisonous and have one main theme like the FireWings

I Hate Jeraboa! So many characters could have been saved, (ex: tamarins eyes, star flight’s eyes, and stonemover now that darkstalker is gone and he has nothing to fear) the only way I can see the war ending is Turtlejou getting serious. 1 year later a seawing/rainwing hybrid animus hatches, it uses its magic to restore the former animus dragons ( the spell only says you can’t REVERSE it, it never said anything about turning dragons into animus) they get rid of the other mind and then they go home, turtle and anemone save the previous mentioned dragons then turtle finds kinkijous parents like he promised and everyone lives happily ever after, the end (hopefully just for this ark, THERE BETTER BE MORE!)
Just my honest opinion here, people, regarding the SeaWings: I think the reason they speak with Aquatic underwater, is because even though their gills allow them to breathe, it's for code purposes. I'm theorizing that if 2 Seawings want to communicate to each other in secret, without any other SeaWings finding out what they're saying, then I believe Aquatic would be a very effective way to accomplish that. Like I said, people, just my personal opinion on SeaWings, regarding the Aquatic language.

Darkstalker/Peacemaker never realy manipulated Fathom, they were really friend between them, and have a real friendship since they two understand each others because of their respective past family problems (Fathom with Albatros, Darkstalker with Prince Artic his own father). So okay, there way ups and downs in their relationship, with Darkstaller being being sincerely really kind to his family, his friends, his own tribe but doing evil and bad deeds without realizing it, obliging them for their own good to follow him and obey him without argument by taking away more or less all free will from them. It is also partly from there that comes all the complexity and strength of the character, in fact he is a good guy and not a bad guy but he finds himself to be one without knowing it and wanting it. On the one hand, he makes sure to really provide for the needs and well being of the dragons but at the cost of their free will... and it is on this point that things/debates about what is good or not are in questionable reality because it is both a good thing and a bad thing. There is thus all the reflection, quite classic it is true, of the fact that on the one hand the dragons would all be cushy and would never experience an unfortunate event again, but also that on the other hand, he would sacrifice what makes d them living beings but would always know so many setbacks... What people like about Darkstalker as much as Fathom is that it's really characters with a very tragic story and who lived at a very young age not very happy events with beings with whom they were close . With Darkstalker, you can't blame him at all, even a little bit, for his good, questionable or unknowingly bad actions. Especially with what we learn in the Legend book which is dedicated to it. He is just a poor dragon who has known a lot of misery, lost and who has not stopped trying to be accepted and to do good as best he can without succeeding, and who would still have to continue to suffer mentally if Kinkajou and the other protagonists of the second cycle had not stopped him for good. But now that Darstalker has been animuzed by Kinkajou who has rejuvenated him, stripped him of all his powers, and rendered him amnesiac (and transformed his Icewing blood into Rainwing's), Darkstalker can, even unconsciously of all that happened, finally live a happy, carefree and eternal life with his mother Foeslayer (with take the pseudonym/assumed name of "Hope" to to hide incognito and be quiet from other dragons) under the pseudonym/assumed name of "Peacemaker". To be honest, even if a good number of people, at my knowledge, had a big disagree about this "antagonist" ending, I find thi pretty well done and orginal compare to all the others WOF villain or most of the villains in others media where they alway "pass the weapon to the left" (thing who is not very imaginative let be agree). Escpecially when you learn and read his story/bio of the character. It's even the first goal of his dedicated Legend book btw ! To conclude, I will just said that there a big contrast we can made between Fathom and Darkstalker at their era, where Fathom manage to get a happy live and Darkstalker who lost to have one despite the two start in similars settings.
@Emmanuel Brijandez Torres Yes you right..... and you're false in the same time in fact. Because I precise clearly that the complexity and the strenght of the characters is precisely the fact he don't want at all to be a bad guy and to make only good things but made always the bads decisions! And in finale, most of his actions are 50/50 because there things were he was right and with really good reasons, thing were he was in the error. About is unforgetable actions, mainly the plague he sent to the Icewing, it's because Icewing are the very exception and the only tribe he doesn't care and hate (and in the same time, we can really understand him since the ones of his era were not really good guys too, Queen Diamond, and his own father Artic with his betrayed toward the Nightwing and Whiteout, just he put this bad aspect on all the Icewing without exception in a extreme way). About the others tribes, they are clean for him. Darkstalker was never really bad or evil one second in his life, but he just never realise the bad aspect of his actions. We can't judge him too because his animus powers made the effect on him to be convince that everything he made was right and to made him blind in this way. Because of his power, he inconsciousely convince himself about things who looks in appearances like a treat but who wasn't a treat. It's the case of Indigo where Darkstalker thought to be a bad influence and treat for Fathom and the current fragile state of this later and manage to make her treatless, it's all. About Fathom, like I said in my commentary, even if he use sometimes manipulation with this later, his friendship with Fathom was sincere and made some manipulation for good use following that Darkstalker thought to be the best to do (the classic thing to make a bad thing for a good thing). In a way, to rassure and make Fathom good and fearless about his animus nature was a kind move, just that the price and sacrifice to made with the lie about Indigo letter and Indigo herselfs. 50/50, like I said. I reconize that is very difficult to explain where the things are good, discutable and bad. But in the same time that precisely show the complexity that made Darkstalker interesting and particulary original like anti-hero character !
@@enderwalkgang It's because Darkstalker convince himself that Indigo was a bad thing and influence and even a treat for his friend. That was not the case or course, but again Darkstalker just made like always a bad thing believing that was a good one. Darkstalker is more or less a good guy and person who want to make good thing toward the others, but just make without truly and never realizing it the opposite. I remind everyone that this aspect is the first one who made this character so complex in the firdt place, and who made what Darkstalker is and why we adore his character.
Hi charcoal, really need get this off my mind. I had look at wiki for wings of fire about how many eggs coral had and I counted up to 35 eggs both male and female eggs, do believe that true the wiki stating that or you think their might be more? Either way coral has laid up to 35 eggs and possible more, must be record of wings of fire!
If you’re counting the Sequel to the Royal Sea-wing Massacre, by my evil oc Prismarine, all the royal sea-wings (including Queen Coral) were brutally killed😅
Okay, the history of dragons in this world goes back THOUSANDS of YEARS ago. And there’s a VAST OCEAN between Pyrrhia & Pantala. So, what if some dragons evolved to only be able to stay in the ocean? Only being able to be on land is just an overall disadvantage, and no dragon can evolve to only stay in the sky, but evolving to only stay in the sea? Whales have already done that, why not dragons?

Actually, originally there were seven, (MudWings, SkyWings, SandWings, RainWings, NightWings, IceWings, SeaWings, LeafWings, and BeetleWings) but the LeafWings and the BeetleWings left because the other tribes had territories too large so they couldn’t find some of their own, so they feeled to Pantala.

Currently working on a Seawing OC rn, I love these videos! They help me flesh out characters, since I like tying my characters to the canon a lot.

There are a lot of fan theories that claim he has some IceWing heritage but Tui hasn't confirmed any of it, so I think it's just a rare color
He needs to do a video just telling the history of the new book for each tribe he already did (book 15) because it added alot

I'm theorizing that if 2 Seawings want to communicate to each other in secret, without any other SeaWings finding out what they're saying, then I believe Aquatic would be a very effective way to accomplish that. Like I said, people, just my personal opinion on SeaWings, regarding the Aquatic language.

Darkstalker/Peacemaker never realy manipulated Fathom, they were really friend between them, and have a real friendship since they two understand each others because of their respective past family problems (Fathom with Albatros, Darkstalker with Prince Artic his own father).
So okay, there way ups and downs in their relationship, with Darkstaller being being sincerely really kind to his family, his friends, his own tribe but doing evil and bad deeds without realizing it, obliging them for their own good to follow him and obey him without argument by taking away more or less all free will from them.
It is also partly from there that comes all the complexity and strength of the character, in fact he is a good guy and not a bad guy but he finds himself to be one without knowing it and wanting it. On the one hand, he makes sure to really provide for the needs and well being of the dragons but at the cost of their free will... and it is on this point that things/debates about what is good or not are in questionable reality because it is both a good thing and a bad thing.
There is thus all the reflection, quite classic it is true, of the fact that on the one hand the dragons would all be cushy and would never experience an unfortunate event again, but also that on the other hand, he would sacrifice what makes d them living beings but would always know so many setbacks...
What people like about Darkstalker as much as Fathom is that it's really characters with a very tragic story and who lived at a very young age not very happy events with beings with whom they were close .
With Darkstalker, you can't blame him at all, even a little bit, for his good, questionable or unknowingly bad actions. Especially with what we learn in the Legend book which is dedicated to it.
He is just a poor dragon who has known a lot of misery, lost and who has not stopped trying to be accepted and to do good as best he can without succeeding, and who would still have to continue to suffer mentally if Kinkajou and the other protagonists of the second cycle had not stopped him for good.
But now that Darstalker has been animuzed by Kinkajou who has rejuvenated him, stripped him of all his powers, and rendered him amnesiac (and transformed his Icewing blood into Rainwing's), Darkstalker can, even unconsciously of all that happened, finally live a happy, carefree and eternal life with his mother Foeslayer (with take the pseudonym/assumed name of "Hope" to
to hide incognito and be quiet from other dragons) under the pseudonym/assumed name of "Peacemaker".
To be honest, even if a good number of people, at my knowledge, had a big disagree about this "antagonist" ending, I find thi pretty well done and orginal compare to all the others WOF villain or most of the villains in others media where they alway "pass the weapon to the left" (thing who is not very imaginative let be agree). Escpecially when you learn and read his story/bio of the character. It's even the first goal of his dedicated Legend book btw !
To conclude, I will just said that there a big contrast we can made between Fathom and Darkstalker at their era, where Fathom manage to get a happy live and Darkstalker who lost to have one despite the two start in similars settings.
@Emmanuel Brijandez Torres Yes you right..... and you're false in the same time in fact. Because I precise clearly that the complexity and the strenght of the characters is precisely the fact he don't want at all to be a bad guy and to make only good things but made always the bads decisions!
And in finale, most of his actions are 50/50 because there things were he was right and with really good reasons, thing were he was in the error.
About is unforgetable actions, mainly the plague he sent to the Icewing, it's because Icewing are the very exception and the only tribe he doesn't care and hate (and in the same time, we can really understand him since the ones of his era were not really good guys too, Queen Diamond, and his own father Artic with his betrayed toward the Nightwing and Whiteout, just he put this bad aspect on all the Icewing without exception in a extreme way). About the others tribes, they are clean for him.
Darkstalker was never really bad or evil one second in his life, but he just never realise the bad aspect of his actions. We can't judge him too because his animus powers made the effect on him to be convince that everything he made was right and to made him blind in this way. Because of his power, he inconsciousely convince himself about things who looks in appearances like a treat but who wasn't a treat. It's the case of Indigo where Darkstalker thought to be a bad influence and treat for Fathom and the current fragile state of this later and manage to make her treatless, it's all.
About Fathom, like I said in my commentary, even if he use sometimes manipulation with this later, his friendship with Fathom was sincere and made some manipulation for good use following that Darkstalker thought to be the best to do (the classic thing to make a bad thing for a good thing).
In a way, to rassure and make Fathom good and fearless about his animus nature was a kind move, just that the price and sacrifice to made with the lie about Indigo letter and Indigo herselfs.

I reconize that is very difficult to explain where the things are good, discutable and bad. But in the same time that precisely show the complexity that made Darkstalker interesting and particulary original like anti-hero character !

@@enderwalkgang It's because Darkstalker convince himself that Indigo was a bad thing and influence and even a treat for his friend. That was not the case or course, but again Darkstalker just made like always a bad thing believing that was a good one.
Darkstalker is more or less a good guy and person who want to make good thing toward the others, but just make without truly and never realizing it the opposite.
I remind everyone that this aspect is the first one who made this character so complex in the firdt place, and who made what Darkstalker is and why we adore his character.

Hi charcoal, really need get this off my mind. I had look at wiki for wings of fire about how many eggs coral had and I counted up to 35 eggs both male and female eggs, do believe that true the wiki stating that or you think their might be more?

Okay, the history of dragons in this world goes back THOUSANDS of YEARS ago.
And there’s a VAST OCEAN between Pyrrhia & Pantala.
So, what if some dragons evolved to only be able to stay in the ocean? Only being able to be on land is just an overall disadvantage, and no dragon can evolve to only stay in the sky, but evolving to only stay in the sea? Whales have already done that, why not dragons?

Actually, originally there were seven, (MudWings, SkyWings, SandWings, RainWings, NightWings, IceWings, SeaWings, LeafWings, and BeetleWings) but the LeafWings and the BeetleWings left because the other tribes had territories too large so they couldn’t find some of their own, so they feeled to Pantala.
