He comes over as a genuine and sincere individual. He seems to know what he's talking about and have a clear vision of what to do and how to do it. However governance is not a one man show. I hope he's prepared to rigorously vet his appointees if he succeeds in his bid for flagbearer and potential president. Most of what he spoke about were in the APC manifesto but nothing much was achieved. I wish him the best. He's my opinion a worthy opponent to Samura, both are outstanding and extremely impressive individuals. Let the best man wins.
He’s sounds to know what he’s talking about only to those that are not intelligent enough to fact check him. He just disqualified himself with the tsunami lies told. He said APC invested heavily in the energy sector but our nation was plunged into darkness the moment APC lost the elections. What sort of investment is that? This only speaks to the high level of illiterates folks in our society that lacks the capacity of intellectual reasoning.
This man is insulting my thinking. He said "nothing is working" Where were you all those eleven years of APC? You were once a finance Minister, shame on you Mr. Marah.
This is extreme dishonesty and an insult to the entire citizenry of this country. If APC indeed did all these massive investments in our energy sector, why did we suddenly experience total darkness the day APC lost the elections. It’s a disgrace. Shame on you Marah.
Some of the teachers he alludes to were sitting in the comfort of their countries in the diaspora whilst those on the ground who were not part of the apc were not paid, but they kept their peace in orther to keep the peace. Apart from the ebola, where lots of money was shipped to the country yet people suffered but could not demonstrate because there were the apc dogs of war, ala animal farm post the revolution. They shipped inderserving people abroad which resukted in the country being placed on human trafficking watch, what can he say about that?
Considering the fact that he was in the koroma led administration for part of the 11 years, worked in the high commission in the uk, seeing apc MP's erratic behaviour, the august 8 to 10 apc led fiasco, what was your action towards that, the electricity ship running away just when the election results announced that slpp won, what were his reaction in line with bringing cohesion that he is talking about? What was his reaction to the youth farm around the country, even the kabala he is talking about, what did he do towards electrification etc? He saw samura kamara maintaining the act he promised during the 2018 election, that if he lost the election he would make the country ungovernable, which he continues doing. He is saying things he does not believe in. I have got more to question him about but i should stop for now, to allow others chio in.
Was it not under their watch that lots of sierra leoneans sent abroad for post graduate programmes, not because ofqualification but because they were party card holders, most of whom are now wondering the streets as they lacked the knowledge, qualification etc, which has further dented our credibility in the diaspora?
Sierra Leone Leaders have ideas, but hoe to implement it is their serious challenges. In the farming sector has he implement one in his town....Some of us are fed up with few of them
But the same apc people are blaming the president that he is creating more diplomatic entities, in their eyes, it is nor required but that is within his remot, so what else?
You guys don't know how to ask critical questions. Instead of asking what he has done for a political party why not ask what he has done for the country as an individual. The country should be the priority for all so called politicians wanting to come milked the country after been jobless for years
Intentionally misstating things in the past is the quintessential definition of revisionist history. The guy was part of a failed and one would argue, disgraced regime. He held different positions in the 11 years of the Koroma administration, including minister of Finance. I did not once hear SL being recognized within or without, as some type of model for fiscal responsibility or governance. As a matter of fast, theirs was one of the most corrupt in the world. Who would forget their gross mishandling of the Ebola epidemic and the misappropriation of the funding. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. It will be a shame if the people of of SL hand over the keys to the national safe to someone with a failed track record. If he really wants to help, he can do so in the private sector
