important segments like the one ur dad is explaning the new system should be a video by its own , since many ppl search for that stuff , , wish u the best . love yall guys
Great update. Horticulture Lighting Group (HLG), some of the best quality, most efficient LED Horticulture Lights on the market today. A successful business always reinvests in itself especially when upgrading efficiency in production. Cheers.
I'm interested in your video more challenging, and More guide for planting.and I believe that you are very hard-working with your family..thanks for sharing for us. You are my idol..
❤4/10/23 hey love you’re TH-cam video. Watching you clean out your trays. I use a shop vac to clean up a lot. And I was watching you mixing your fertilizer with a stick. I have done that tell I seen some one use a mud mixer with a 1/2 inch drill it works great and its a lot faster than a stick or pvc pipe thanks for your videos. Barry
Amazing work you folks do over there. Tell pops to get you a big Shop Vac on wheels for clean up time. Looking forward to seeing the new feeding setup in the high tunnel. Meal looked tasty! Nice light. Stay safe and have a wonderful weekend!
Out this way there is also an open area that is sometimes called a garden space. Very empty out there at the moment. However there is a chance for more snow Sunday night, again. That channel system your family runs is very enjoyable to follow along with especially as a crop becomes package ready. Soon the light tinge of green to your tree tips will open into the summer's canopy. Happy Gardening! -Bob...
Devon, you need a large wet/dry vacuum for cleaning out the water before wiping down those large nursery trays. It would work a lot faster than soaking with towels and wringing them out. Stir up the algae first to suspend it and then the vacuum will take most of it out.
WoW you are great at growing !!! 🌴Rite 🤠 on 🌴 Iv been a hydro tec for twenty three years and I love to see people taking it to the next level ! Amazing ✌️🌹✌️
I love steamed broccoli leaves, you should try them sometime, the younger leaves are the best. I will be waiting to hear how the dosatron system works. Thanks for posting.
Congrats on not having to mix 100 gallons of nutrients every day! That dosing unit is cool. Another nice video, and fun to share in the journey as the farm continues to grow.
I can certainly see how that will nearly be a game changer for you. That floating tank half underground and the algae problem, dosing chenical so often. Wow. With the business you have going for you with such little labor to production ratio it pays to save time and energy. It will probably give you time to make and sell more.
But some extra springs for those dosers. They break periodically and it sucks if you don’t either have a spare doser or the springs on hand to replace them. I have the same ones. Chuck
Crop King Desktop NFT question - which Oasis cube do you use that will fit in the desktop NFT system? I'll need to start some seeds soon as the current lettuce crop is about ready for harvest. Oasis has so many types available on their web site, figured I should check with you. And, nice to see another cameo appearance by the Buck Folding Hunter! Dave
Hola Devon, excelent video, all of you are so natural!! Nice music, keep hydro-farming, would You mind to show us how does the Big solution tank is cleaned please??
The Dosatron looks like a great idea. How do you keep the solution in the barrels from falling out of suspension over time? Also, do you have an automatic generator system in place in case of a power outage and no one is home? On a hot day, this could be disastrous. Always enjoy the updates.
Weather is driving us a little crazy down here in the states as well, delaying greenhouse build. Did you have a chance to check on potassium nitrate levels on the toms, cukes? Great video as always everyone!!.
Doug did an awesome job welding that aluminum shelf! On average how many weeks does your lettuce take to mature? Your lunch looked awesome, I'm hungry now. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Thanks! It’s nice having the boxes off the ground. It takes about 6-8 weeks in the summer and longer in the winter. I know CropKing harvests their lettuce at 6 weeks. Hope you guys are having nice spring weather up there!
Thank you very much. We must use plastic for our crop share order because the produce gets handled and packed into a box for their customers. We are hoping we will not have to use plastic this year at the farm market. We were required to use bags last season because of the pandemic.
Hi absolutely fabulous, have you ever tried to grow sugar snap Peas, I am on the Gold Coast Queensland Australia and have all your videos ( I use Grow Bags on my terrace) also can you do a finisher on the Maple Syrup to show how you make the final product!
Thank you very much! We have only tried growing pea shoots in the greenhouse, but we grow them in the soil garden. I’ll have to do a video on finishing the syrup next season. The syrup is all bottled up and in the freezer. Hope you have a great week! -Devon
@@lostandfound3588 no problem. I like to share. I'm growing broccoli in hydroponics for first time myself this year so I've been binge watching all types of hydroponics videos. I use Bt to control the cabbage worms its organic and works well.
Hi Devon, I have question about irrigation time for NFT System. Did you have schedule for irrigation? for example five minutes every hour or the irrigation system work all day (no stop ) ? Thanks.
It depends on the product. All of the lettuce has the cube attached. We’ve never had a complaint about it. I think most people end up cutting off the base of the plant.
2:20.......... 3:44 what would happen if boiled or just burned the media? Could it still be reused... jus axing... And that cart full of greens is worm food.. jus sayin... catfishin is good.....
Cooking with onions or garlic without exhaust going outside, will stink up your home. Ask Bobby or dad to install it if you don't have it. I can't live without an external exhaust....we cook a lot of Indian food!
Really great 👍👍👍👏👏👍
Thanks for give me information 🙏👍👌👍😍

Great stuff 👍🏻
Y’all grow some beautiful plants
Facinating stuff --- dosatron, rockwool test, led light --- great presentation! I could almost taste the cherry tomato!
Thank you! The tomatoes are such a good snack. Hope you are having a nice weekend.
Great video...as usual.
18k subs and "growing", no surprise to me.
Great American family/channel, thanks for sharing your adventures.

I love your videos as they are easy to understand and very inspirational as I plan to build similar tunnels with aquaponic and hydroponic systems 🙏❤️🙏
Congratulations! We love to watch your work
Shop vac would be my go to for getting the last of the solution out of your trays.
That’s a good idea!

Your grow lite looks great, I tried to purchase a grow lite stand from my local supplier but they are sold out for the year.

Hi Devon! Great video again :). What are the ingredients if you don't mind that you used to stuff the wraps? Thank you! Great drone footage!
I liked your lettuce wrap. I wonder if you could replace taco shells with a large lettuce leaf, I think I will look into trying it.

will look forward to it
I have some Broccoli in 30 litre grow bags on my Terrace - what fertiliser ratio are you using?
Are leaves on the broccoli edible
They are. Ive cut them to add to cabbage and collard greens before. They are a bit tough but tasty

Hey can I Come and visit your farm, I live in KY though. Please guide me if you allow visitors.
Hi good day i would like to know in your dutch bucket if you have the nutrients flowing continously.
We have the timers set to come on every 30 minutes for 40 seconds.
Hi Devon, I have question about irrigation time for NFT System.
Did you have schedule for irrigation? for example five minutes every hour or the irrigation system work all day (no stop ) ?
Thanks.
Do you intend for the Dosatron to replace the fertroller?
Bluelab is some nice stuff but you pay for it!
can you grow ramps in a bucket w drippers or a watering rod
yes
Devon at what flow rate do you have your nft channels and batto bbuckets? I don't know if you are on fb, insta, or....
are you the one flying the drone??it was nice..
What is the name of that open head cabbage she is harvesting? I couldn't quite make out what she said... thx!
tokyo bekana is the open head cabbage we grow
Do you harvest everything with roots attached? do you ever get customers who don't like the algae on the rootcubes?
It depends on the product. All of the lettuce has the cube attached. We’ve never had a complaint about it. I think most people end up cutting off the base of the plant.
Why don't you wear your companies Logo on your tops while doing these video's. ?? Just a thought.
Could I get the product code for the Muti dimple Oasis cubes? My supplier can't seem to find them.
Where is Devon? A guest appearance would be nice:)
We miss her too!

Ramps are good eaten raw, the only problem is everyone avoids you after.
Never tried them raw, but I’m sure you are right. My son asked if I was making garlic bread when it was cooking.

From Europe here, a question: how many square meters does your largest greenhouse cover?
5000 square feet....
👍
Did you create the holes for the nfts yourself or did you buy it
No, they came that way but imagen it would not be hard to just drill out with a Forstner bit
@@HomegrownPassion is the hole not to small for bigger vegetables like Swiss chard
