This ghazal beautifully written by Nasir Kazmi talks about one's yearning for something very very dear to him/her. It can be an attachment to an individual or a place or anything for that matter.
On that context, Calcutta has been a city that has always charmed me and seen most of my "firsts". Hence my rendition of this ghazal, is an ode to my beautiful city who has seen me grow and knows all my secrets.
Thanks to Nilanjn Ghosh for thoroughly understanding the emotion of the situation and beautifully producing the song.
