Ngl that choreography was lit. It was kinda refreshing to see that they did new stuff with live-action lightsaber duels. This deserved praise. It felt like it really was an entirely different era of combat (in terms of martial arts)
I fully agree on that, they did a great job on that. i felt like the first 4 episodes were a bit boring also bad written but not nec bad tho they made up for it in eps 5

Qimir is my most favorite Sith Lord. He breaks the dumb trope of them being broody unemotional psychos, and actually has a personality outside being a Sith.

Hmm, I have to admit, the guy playing the Sith seems to be pretty good, I like the dark humor he brings, reminiscent of Palpatine and Vader without being a copy, not bad. Overall, I'm not all that impressed by the show, but I'll praise what's praiseworthy. Plus I liked the reintroduction of cortosis.
That helmet had to have been made of cortosis. Because only cotorsis metal can short out a lightsaber blade upon impacting it

@@Tradetek1 there were people who used it, just not often. Cad Bane used a cortosis bullet to kill Ord Ennicence in Legends. But during the prequel era it had become rather rare and expensive

@@JTM610 Well I think the characters are forgettable, the only one who stands out me is Master Sol. Episode 3 was a total cringe fest. Mae's motivation is wack. First she wants revenge on the Jedi for a fire she started, then when she sees that Osha is alive, she switches sides and wants to turn herself into the Jedi but then she goes back on that. Sol can't sense it's Mae disguised as Osha. So much dumb shit happens.

Qimir saying he needs to kill everyone there, because he was exposed .... COULD also be the reason why he wants every Jedi killed who were there on Brendok 16 years ago. You might ask why didnt he just do it earlier? Because 1 man going around killing 4 jedi who were all there during the Brendok incident is gonna tip the republic off, and make them wanna search for him. So he coulve manipulated Osha to do what he wants. Finish off the jedi who were there on Brendok stopping his plans, to do something serious on Brendok. My theory has been that Qimir was planninh something bad on Brendok using the witches, and the jedi stopped him

Correct, I've changed it now. I just didn't want to spoil the gender of the Sith Lord since at the time of upload not everyone saw the episode and many were theorizing Mother Koral to be the Sith... hope that makes sense.

My thought at the series beginning was he was a Knight of Ren, but either the group REALLY degraded over the 150 years between this and the movies that shalt not be named, or I was wrong about his connection to the force sensitive anarchist biker gang we know about. If he really is a Sith and not just name dropping cause he thinks Sith equals Dark Side, I don't think he's from the rule of two, it's more likely he's from one of the Sith worshipping cults that Sidious would later bend to his will
He's no Sith Lord, doesnt have the yellow eyes indicating their connection with the Dark Side, but he is a Dark Side Force user.
Neither did dooku it depends how much they are letting the dark side flow through them. He could just be an exceptionally good fighter only tapping into the dark side at that moment
Here’s another thing the Sith Lord besides not having yellow eyes something tells me he’s the apprentice of someone much more powerful and deadlier with a lightsaber hence why he needs a acolyte a pupil so he may fufill his role in the rule of two in order to become master he must destroy the previous one

What better way to bring them back than to kill off everyone they hated? You might like the character(s), but many do not. I think this is now a thing Hollywood does. They play with the emotions of fans for free publicity and then bring them back later. 100% abusive. We all know the next show after the Acolyte is going to get raving reviews by these same fans hating the Acolyte.

Just like marvel and dc superheroes, the jedi...with all of their powers,...just prediminantly fight hand-to-hand or with the saber. Given all that power, they don't use it. Both of them could EASILY kill him if they worked together...if it was not a made for movie fight

Not when they are focused and plus. He’d have his force abilities protecting him and he’d sense the danger bc he’s honed for battle so he won’t be fooled so easily.
The only time is when he’s too focused on something and distracted to sense someone about to use a force ability on him.

When sol attacked qimir. qimir said it "wasn't very Jedi of him" so sol through his lightsaber and let go of his anger. Also when sol was fighting qimir with jecki the cortorsis on qimirs helmet shorted out his lightsaber and jecki had already gone ahead to fight qimir so he wasn't much help. And yord was a Jedi knight who could take care of him self I see no reason sol had to interfere with yord fighting qimir.
Great episode this puts Andor least favorite star wars show. Please dont waste money for a season 2 it really sucks
