    Perfect video - short and to the point , no added pork to make a lengthy production
    THANK YOU

    I’d love to see more detail/photos of the city and each 1x1 section.

    Awesome design! And if you want to use it for crusades era gaming or even antiquity you really just have to not include the posters

    Really useful video, as it looks simple enough even for me to have a go at it! Keep up the good work.

    Excellent video guys - the addition of posters is something I've got to do to my ME buildings. Great idea the 1' square tiles. Just discovered LW TV - lovin it👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    What are the walls made of? I am making one of these houses for a school project.

    what did you use for the 1x1 foot bases?

      It might be " artist board" that yiu can get at any craft store. Its the material that painters use for lesser or practice paintings. Very rigid. Cheap.

      I'd use 3mm MDF

    great work, would these buildings be ok for tobruk/el alamain ?

    • @LittleWarsTV
      @LittleWarsTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! We use these buildings for all sorts of wargames in North Africa/Middle East across a wide span of history.

    i straight up js 3d printed buildings... its less time consuming and cheaper, prob cost me a dollar or less per building also i can make the roofs detachable for indoor cqb, all of my roads and platforms i just used foam and used Popsicle sticks to make it more stable to prevent it from breaking. also instead of buying new parts every time you wanna make a new building you can just buy some filament and a cheap printer and just sit and watch. You can use a cheap printer because these are very basic shapes and you dont need detail. I really loved the spackle though!

    Looks great ( and clever, love the sticker ) ! I should try something like that ... when I have enough talent!

      I'm quite sure you have enough talent for this project right now, Phil. Trust us, if Josh can do it, so can you! (Don't tell Josh I said that.)

    Why foam are you using to build walls and buildings

  • @davrosdavros7198
    @davrosdavros7198 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the spackle protect foam from the primer?

    • @1h8turkeys
      @1h8turkeys 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. I did a test spray with rattle can primer and it ate into the exposed "brick" foam. I'm going to try vallejo airbrush primer.

    Can you use white foam card instead of black, to make the same building.

    • @LittleWarsTV
      @LittleWarsTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course, it's the same material!

  • @jamessmith-hf5tl
    @jamessmith-hf5tl 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did the primer not melt the exposed foam?

    • @LittleWarsTV
      @LittleWarsTV  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Spray paint can melt the interior of foam-core board, but that's why all the edges were covered in masking tape and also spackled with drywall compound. If you have a tiny bit of exposed foam here or there it's ok--just not an entire open seam!

    Where's the damaged walls and roof?I don't have the walls or roof permanently fixed in order to substitute the damaged sections for the good ones
    That's for my 20mms or 1/87. I don't use 28mms
    When using 1/390, I don't sculpt the buildings. I will create damaged buildings from clay

    "modern" and 'Middle East" just don't go together. Almost an oxymoron like 'jumbo shrimp'. These buildings look awesome, perfect for a beardy weirdy town.
