Hi mate anthor good video and top work 🧱👊👊👊👊 the way i was taught about cashflow in the building game was like if we are doing a extension dig footings pour concete get a payment get both skins up to lintel height then second payment then if it was a double story extension then 2nd lift once up to wallplate anthor payment and then once cables built next payment and i have always make sure customs happy as u know , maybe start doing that making stages u hit to get paid doesnt always work like that but its worth a shout and also you have some staff who are of then back in then that can mess u up to keep going mate 🧱👊👊👊👊👊
Seriously. The lads can't be waiting for the wages iv seen this for 2+ weeks .I remember my kids mum paying her childminders cash straight up for the day or even a transfer these days ??so what do they do say erm I haven't been paid ill sort it buy the day ?? If the boys don't get paid ,that's a mark on there name .?your apps don't seem to work .RULE ,1 PAY ON TIME..especially at this time of year..I'm lucky.very lucky. Compared to most employees 💯
@@grafdog44 you are right, that’s why I’m designing my own app to help solve this issue but it’s a mixture of trying to do to much myself, some weeks being material heavy, the yard progression, we pay for weeks upfront to customers maybe I should take a deposit, and it takes me a long time to sit and work out the receipts to which jobs and hours that’s if the lads check in and out properly then I have to change the hours in the app to the right jobs. Most of the time I end up using pen and paper. It’s something I do struggle with as we grow but everyone’s always been paid even if they’ve done a sub par job that needs re-doing everyone has always been paid end of the day. The rip out job I lost £4500. The lads still got paid. It’s easy job on paper but running a business especially in this industry is harder than most think. I try to show all the ups and downs and not sugar coat anything so I take criticism on the chin when it’s due and I’m trying to make sure it’s future proof before taking on more staff & jobs
Hi Andy, could you possibly go over what's involved with ordering equipment from China, mainly any hidden costs involved and what to avoid? Thank you

@BowdenBuilders thank you, much appreciated
