I think a big issue with the deck is what you alluded to, with no engines. 4x Gas Guzzler and 4x Knight of Eos seems like a given. You want to churn through your deck more. Or maybe a couple Corrupted Convictions cards to help the dig. 4x blood witch seems like too many, it's good for uping speed and finishing off opponents. But that's AFTER your deck did the thing of flooding the board. Which seems like the part of the deck that should be scaled back in favor of better draw/filtering to find the combos.
I started playing a similar deck to this in foundations. I think focusing too much on raise the past is a trap. I also think Amalia slots in well with elas and the various drain creatures
Its really funny watching a pro player who's been trained his whole career to get the most out of cards and not waste them, as his brain breaks trying to play a deck where to get the most out of your cards... You kinda have to waste them. Its almost like a deck that wants you to "play badly", lol.
This is such a fun archetype but it really needs Stitcher's Supplier. Gorehound and Gnawing Vermin are nice but you just can't fill the graveyard enough with the tools currently in Standard, which really throttles the deck's consistency in my experience. On an unrelated note, I've been playing a similar deck in Explorer and it absolutely slaps since you have access to Corpse Knight and Stitcher's Supplier...
This video hurt to watch. The amount of misplays Jim made causing him to lose, and then he draws the conclusion that the deck is bad....I'm guessing he was tired after playing for so many hours.
Jim you da man!

Thumbnail Ancester Jim can't hurt me 😢
Love the thumbnail on this one
bring in starscape cleric + hinterland sanctifier and you can kill people by just casting raise the past

Nothing like a good old fresh brew. Love ya Jim. ❤
What are these bots in the comments lol
What do you mean, clearly OnlyFans spammers love this MtG pro playing with his son and his soundboard
They are always taking our "first" comment posts 😤😤
Notice how youtube does nothing about it? You can report it all day.
@hp5310nah don’t even waste your time on that. Just downvote and move on with your day
They never end

Some ruthless lawbringers would be cool. Too bad rite of oblivion rotated. That card was the house.

Dewdrop cure would be great in the deck
I'm working on a version of this deck myself.
Blood ghast in reanimator is so fun now.
