Battletech: Fieldtech: City & Lunar Neoprene Map

In this video, I'm taking a look at the Battletech: Fieldtech: City/Lunar Hexed neoprene map. I very much feel like this map could've been done a lot better and it's very frustrating that it was released when it could've used a little more TLC and been a lot better.

Thanks for this upload Vespene! I was thinking about getting some of the new city maps, and its good to know that THAT particular one is gimped.
Not sure what they were thinking... didnt they playtest these at all?

Yeah, I'd skip that particular map, but the other ones are nice and I enjoy playing on them. My only problem with them is that like many other CGL maps, there are clear, unblocked sight-lines down the center and sides of the map.
I agree, I don't think this map was playtested at all. Honestly, I don't think Catalyst has any focus groups and if they do, those focus groups are full of yes-men. I feel like a lot of their products would be greatly improved if they went through a playtesting phase that included outside focus groups (could just be made up of CGL demo agents tbh).

Thanks for pointing out the bad maps. CGL quality control is extremely bad. I consider buying only pdf files instead of books as a 50 USD book or map with that many errors is not nice to read or have.
