I honestly regret making that rant video, i had nothing constructive in the video. Even if i did included some postives i really should have waited lmao. Shout out btw❤
Ay man don’t worry bout it there will be stuff from time to time that we may or may not like at first and then go on a whole rant about it trust me I done the same but don’t regret it, it’s good feedback for the developers going forward with this game
I say no, it will play well for those who like the new modern zombies but for the OG fans it will never be the same. the game is catered to an audience who never played it in the first place. the game is a shell of itself. You will never see the numbers of people playing zombies like there was with waw-bo4 zombies. it went downhill after the original crew was killed off. Theres a reason BO6 zombies has received so much hate.
While I agree that the "vocal" community won't see it as a success, I'm pretty sure that vocal community is more of a minority now. So while it's not made for us fans, we aren't exactly the target audience anymore. So I'd say it will be a success. Just not for us.
@colby_chezzz that is true. I've felt that since bo4. The starts of it, I mean. How they were changing the mode into something else. I understand change, and personally, I don't even like Bo3 as much as the other fans do. I'm a bo1 Stan to this day, lol. It's just a different game now. I can enjoy it, but it'll never be what it was like back then.
This will only bring new players. People like me who loved old zombies this is just a watered down version so players first game can hit round 50 without a challenge. Sad this mode is done for the old crowd
@@NightofMoviesalso most people that played the old zombies are in there 20’s now. They are having kids and shit and don’t have time too run a 4 hour ee
I understand your perspective but it looks like they are “trying” to find a good balance for both casual and hardcore players but for high rounds gotta agree it does look easy
I’m 21 and I’m not having kids lol just joking but in all seriousness yea stuff does change over time to the point were people grow up and can just grow out of things
adding a hud is as easy as replacing the pictures in the code with the old pictures used for the old hud (which are already made). its really really easy and even if it was made on a different engine its just pictures they would just need to download the old hud pictures and replace it over the new ones and maybe change size and position literally just by typing in a couple numbers and keeping the new code and its very simple.
Before the video even starts, I believe bo6 will be successful. Despite the negative reception of Cold War it was still one of the most played zombies experiences in a while. I believe the same will apply to Bo6, PLUS we have objectively better launch maps; Terminus looks like one of the best maps since Dead of the Night. While Liberty looks like a good casual map, not a good zombies map overall…. But a good casual map. The games success heavily relies on what they have in store for DLC maps. If it’s another setting with a research station underneath once again then my faith will be lost a bit.
Cold War told an interesting story with uninteresting characters. It has since been bogged down by Vanguard and especially MWZ’s stories. We know the probable outcome of our crew - it’s just a matter of how they get where they need to be. That there removes the mystery of BO3’s story, which was most focused on a story of the week which all culminated with Revelations. It was like watching a popular tv series and then coming up with endless theories to fill the space between DLC. Each game featuring zombies (even the spin-offs) all did a similar series of visiting new areas to then reach the culmination of the past maps. WaW building up to Der Riese, which goes into Kino culminating into the best moment in zombies history. After that they tried dual-plots with Tranzit into Buried but decided to change course with Origins. All of which goes into BO3’s Revelations ending which is supposed to cap off the cycle - which was highly unsatisfying to many players, especially TH-camrs. Now we’re on BO6. The nonsense ramblings that was BO4’s ending is trying to be turned into an entire universe now with Cold War’s lack of a crew, Vanguard’s ancient evil pyramid, and MW3’s desire to end a story it didn’t create. I’m apprehensive to say the least, not because I won’t enjoy the new maps - but rather the community has already made up their mind and speaking different will result in you being called a shill, a child, or just that you outright have bad taste. Honestly my biggest hope is just more agreement in the community. TH-camrs seem to want to drive a wedge between “old-fans” and “new-fans” when it’s really “Warzone fans” that are wrecking modern CoD. Sorry to say it but everyone knows it, Warzone has infected each part of Call of Duty and there needs to be separation. Otherwise, I know pretty much none of what I hoped for will come true but I just wanted to give my perspective on the issues currently plaguing BO6 and Treyarch’s Zombies as a whole.
Yea I agree with most of this Warzone has truly changed the whole perspective of COD which is disappointing thats why I made that intro and putting the thumbs down to warzone.
I think Terminus is highly inspired by tranzit, large map with multiple areas separated by dangerous areas you can either take transportation to (tranzit bus and now the boat) or take the more dangerous alternative and go there on foot (through the fog and denizens and now swimming through the water and avoiding the sea monster)
@@Clarkysj1 I think they know the problem with tranzit was that they couldnt load in multiple large map areas at a time, and now knowing they can theyre trying that again
Im very excited for zombies is it easier yes but sometimes its fun to just turn your brain off after a hard day of work and kill some zombies.(love the new save feature)
I feel the ammo makes it too easy too cause you used to have to try to get a max ammo from bosses and if you didn't you'd have o try to survive with a box gun
These guys talk about Vanguard too much, kill em 😠 Thanks for having me on Clarky! This was a fun chat, and I think we said a lot of positives without reaching too hard, I'm excited for launch!
Here's my take: Yes and no. Cold war was super successful and really was pretty fun but camo grinding, having your hand held while doing ee steps and just overall difficulty was pretty poor. I miss having to search up guides for steps but instead they just tell you to go pick up something that's legit highlighted with a golden outline. Starting off with any gun you wish as well also ruined things imo. Bo4 was the same with the starting weapon choice but they did it right because they were just wall weapons of the first or second room. I really miss starting off with a pistol and going to the box and whatever I got was what I had to use. The only way to get attachments was via pack a punch and yknow it just worked and made sense. I know there is a "classic" and "story" mode now but regardless I think zombies should be, off the bat, a difficult survival mode

We will just need to see how it is when it launches but holy shit I’m hoping that the in game COD Store doesn’t have a bunch of micro transactions but knowing Activision yea there will be

Way too many good zombies videos being made lately I’m so overwhelmed 😂😂😂😂
There so many amazing content creators out there right now it’s amazing
there's no problem with having a casual map but the old casual maps were the giant and so much more personality
Yea your right on that
I just hope this new zombies brings new players. It's always fun to have ppl who never experienced zombies play them 4 the first time
I think it will especially when this game is trying to find a good balance by catering to both the casual and hardcore players

By making a mode for everyone they have made it for no one. This isn't even zombies anymore, call it something else.
