So is it okay to use liquid membrane and crystallization system? What if the substrate is uneven and needs levelling? I understand Xypex or similar product has to be applied on untreated, unlevelled concrete so it saturates deep. Do you use self-leveling cement afterwards? And then use liquid membrane on top of the self-leveled cement?

Hi Pang, we don't specialise in crystallisation and or penetrating liquid waterproof membranes, we believe elastomeric coatings to be the best way to waterproof a structure. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! :)

I'm learning this myself... if you use a crystalizing system there may be 15 to 30 days before it has time to crystallize thoroughly from moisture, and then some manufactures don't warrant or recommend there penetrating rubber membrane product over it because it won't penetrate.
Well it would be nice to find a membrane to stack on it.
The top surface is likely recommended to be profiled to cps3 (16grit texture), instead of cps2 (40 grit or much finer) which is what a hand grinding multi fin cup wheel may achieve.
