Hello Beverly! The new Tarte Color Corrector with a light concealer over the top such as the new Charlotte Beautiful Skin Concealer. So heaviness in the color corrector, but light weight in the concealer.
Just purchased this at Ulta today. The color is perfect! The coverage is great and buildable too! I am 69 and have these dark spots…nothing seemed to work so I went shopping to find something to cover dark spots…WHen I looked at colors and tested them I couldn’t believe the match I found with “medium” . The applicator let’s me apply as much as I need, then blend with that great brush! I’m impressed with this product.
Ohh i really have to watch this back, it's crazy late here in NL and i'm still behind (puppy's fault 😂) watched the first part will watch back the rest soon!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I have it in #3. It's supposed to have skin care benefits. I don't know about that. But over all it's my favorite one at the moment.
I agree with that decision, Debbie. Funnily enough, I made this video a week or so before I made the other but the Huda product was so new that it kind of pushed ahead.
Just ordered it from Cult Beauty, so I'll have it tomorrow. You know, i said i was going to try the Guerlain la teint foundation, but just not yet. Well, i ordered it today, so i should get that tomorrow as well, and i think I'm about to do a Wayne Goss order 🤪🙈😂
Thank you for the review! I thought the concept is to "spot correct " not layer over entire face? Does it show hint of the peachy/orange? If so , it wouldn't work on me because i dont layer foundation under my eyes. It seems application should be separate for best result: first color corrector cancels darkness/spots, then layer concealer to brighten and minimize the peachy/orange color? I guess it would be ok for face, but wouldn't it blend away when applying foundation?
Definitely spot correct. I tend to have little spots of redness or darkness all over. There is fortunately no hint of peachy orange in this one. That is reserved for products that are just Soli color correcting. 💕
I’m starting to get confused with which is the best concealer for dark circles, puffy eyes and mature skin which won’t go crepey? The Tarte colour corrector isn’t currently available in Australia however I do use the CT magic vanish which is good. I used to use a SK11 brightening cream , which is discontinued which instantly got rid of the dark circles! That alone helped one problem under the eyes.
I am going to do a round up and I will have to break it up into what’s best for what issue. So thank you for this. And I think what’s really frustrating is, exactly as you say, nothing does everything. It’s a bunch of different products that target different issues and we can’t wear them all.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I look forward to that video of the breakdown of various products. With all the technology about it would be great for one product to target all the needs of the consumers. One day perhaps
I was easily able to wear this for a full 10 hour day. It wore a little bit under the eyes but as long as you set it with a little bit of translucent powder, it’s fine
Hi lovely Rebecca !! This looks nice even though it’s a little light , it works under the foundation . The round bottom would get on my nerves 😬. I am liking your Vieve gloss . How are you finding the gloss ? 🤗💕
And I am an algebra girl! But isn’t it funny how that works. It’s like you like one you don’t like the other and vice versa. Oh that Nars is really good I agree
I have totally given up on concealers....I've tried so many...and every one makes my under eye look dry and textured.....only use colour corrector now......sadly...
Rebecca, it seems so much darker when you came back with the rest of your makeup. Did it dry down darker or oxidize? Or it it just the camera playing tricks?
So I swatched this in store and wanted to try it but the fairest shade was sooo dark and then proceeded to dry down even darker lol. Oh well 😂 Lots of options so all good
I had to chuckle because up until I started watching beauty TH-cam I always put my concealer on before my foundation. That’s just how the Mac artists taught me back in the day. (90s)
I LOVE it. TOTALLY was a MAC technique in the 90s. WOW. Yes. TOTALLY. And now I'm even experimenting with color corrector, foundation, then concealer. And makeup artists like Scott Barnes do all the contour and such even before foundation!
To me, the Valentino (which I wore yesterday) is like how you described the Glowish one you reviewed yesterday. I have a lighter color than my skin. It covers my correctors and brightens without adding thickness. Honestly, I don’t think this covers the darkness under your eyes (and my dark cavernous circles are darker and more purple than yours - I’m OLDer). I’d like to see it with the color corrector underneath or at least try it and report how it looked.
Hello Rabbi! Yes, the Valentino would be great for that purpose. But, darn it, I have to use the Valentino with even foundation over it and the orange of the corrector still pops through. I have beef with Mr. Valentino apparently. I have used this IT over my beloved Tarte and it definitely works but I'm starting to dislike ANY thickness....starting? haha. You know I hate thick concealer....so it feels like the layers just MOUNT. So I like this one better with nothing under and yet...the dark caverns of despair!!! Chag Pesach Sameach.
Good morning, Rebecca. Dear Lord, what are we gonna do with Urban Decay and their freaky names 😭? I think it looked fine on you. I was searching to see if you reviewed Patrick Starrr’s Buttersilk concealer, but I couldn’t find a video on it? Have you ever tried that concealer? If so, did you like it? Thanks for another great review👏🥰💜.
UD has VERY freaky names. It's like...PLEASE. Haha. You know what? I have never tried anything by JS. I am not anti JS at all. In fact, he does excellent makeup reviews and I think that got lost in all the drama surrounding him. But I've never really tried anything from his line. I need to.

I am not going to argue with you on that one. Generally, their products are too thick for me. I liked the last cc cream that wasn’t as thick but I found out it had that snail stuff in it and that just kind of freaks me out. I’m not squeamish but for some reason that did me in. So I’m very hit and miss with them, more miss than hit. Agreed. This is a very capable little concealer but it won’t change your world.
