I understand Nigerians though. And am Ghanaian. I think people from West Africa understand to an extent.in fact we understand. Aside the accent they are basically speaking pidgin. Which is basically the shortening and slight changing of English words. It's a deliberate speech. Pidgin is or can be compared to Jamaica's patoa. I dunno for others but for most west African countries especially those around Nigeria understand.
