thats what I did with theme exchangers too! I had Taeyeon already and I got Sunny from one of the LE packs in the fireworks event. I got Hyoyeon and Yuri with Theme Exchangers and then I got Yoona with the R card select. Super happy I completed the theme!
i tried to finish my sticker le, i spent all of my theme exchange, I spent all fireworks festival points and still I didn't manage to get doyoung's card. But on the other hand I got to finish my beatbox le
aespa has so many LEs so it's hard to get specific LE but there's high chance to get any LEs theme cos they only have 3 normal themes. I plan to try TE for aespa but I run out of exchangers 😬.

I tried to get giselle synk with TE and I failed miserably I only got her normal themes
