Bastille are an English rock band formed in London in 2010. They began as a solo project by singer-songwriter Dan Smith, who later decided to form a band. The four-piece is completed by Chris Wood, William Farquarson and Kyle Simmons. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day - an event celebrated on Smith's birthday, 14 July.
In December 2010, EMI Music announced that they had offered Bastille a record contract with Virgin Records. Their debut single, "Overjoyed" was subsequently released in April 2012. Their first studio album, titled Bad Blood, was released in March 2013 and debuted atop the UK Albums Chart. The band was nominated for four Brit Awards at the 2014 ceremony, including for British Breakthrough Act, British Group, British Single of the Year and British Album of the Year, winning for British Breakthrough Act. As of February 2014, Bastille have sold over 2.07 million records in the UK alone.
Bastille front man, Dan Smith has revealed that they wish to release a new album as soon as possible but are being delayed due to touring schedules. Dan Smith has also said that the new album will be more guitar heavy, electronic and perhaps R&B influenced.

I'll describe every Bastille show:
- Dan looks like is having a stroke or is playing an instrument;
- Kyle isn't breathing;
- Will is done with everyone's bullcrap
- Woody is just being a diva or having a stroke too

+Sydney Clark and sometimes the high notes sound very 'breathy' if you know what I mean.
Kyle's cat shirt is amazing. I can imagine him putting it on before the concert and thinking, "God I hope someone notices the kittens on my shirt."

I have been to a Bastille concert and Bad Blood is towards the middle

I think they didn't agree to put Blame in the uploaded version because it wasn't released back then, but I have no idea why isn't The draw in the video. I need to hear an early version of Blame, I'm living for that song

Plus it's kinda funny how a lot of people in the crowd seem to be rather calm during the whole concert, but when the band starts singing "eh eo eo eh o, eh eo eo" suddenly everybody starts jumping and singing, too :D

there a are a lot of frontmen in a band that can be quite energetic when singing live,and he sounds really good live but you can hear him breathing thts why he stops in between jumps plus singers know all about breathing & singing etc to me you can still tell he is actually singing live :-)
