When they said, "We're out of cream in the breakroom." and "Regular or vanilla?" and they respond with, "Hazelnut." That is their coding. Like, that's their code words to let each other know that it's their true identity.
Yeah, it's a code phrases conversation to confirm identity. I might be mistaken but I remember it being used during medieval times. For example, the king's spy approaches the gate to the castle and the guard at the gate says, "The crow caws at midnight." In return, the spy must say, "No, only a dawn" or not be granted access to the castle. These kinds of coded phrases are still used with modern spy operatives but now they are physical not spoken. For example, going to a beach at the park and tie your shoe before taking off your glass and cleaning them. These actions are repeated 3 times before leaving. The other operative will then approach them or drop off information in a predesignated location. That's at least my understanding.
Matt, them starting the conversations with “they’ve run out of cream in the break room” is like a code, and as a ‘password’ to that they ask regular or vanilla, however in order to gain access or trust, they must answer “Hazelnut” as some form of predetermined answer to that specific question, D then saying “order confirmed” could mean something like “okay, state your business” it’s basically a way for them to talk about the experiments and patients, covertly.
A lot of times, back in the cold War especially, its a different kind of password. The password is the break room is out of creamer. The authentication is Regular or Vanilla? (As in, is the line safe? Whats the clearance level of this conversation? Which portion of the project does it contain to?) Hazelnut, not one of the choices listed by D, but possibly is a code for what the discussion is going to be about. It seems to be more sensitive than the previous chat log. Order Confirmed. Is like saying, you are clear to speak. Sort of like those old pirate or thieves guild tropes, "The goose flies at midnight" They already have evidence suggesting the evidence could be military, as well as the tag on the Mountaineer potentially belonging to a military base. “They’re out of cream in the break room” “Regular or vanilla?” “Hazelnut” “Order confirmed” Matt, try calling Syphus again and use that. You could also try emailing John Doe again.
Wait a second, D gave them the disk thing for the username Syphus590, right? So either D and Syphus are the same person, or they definitely know each other and D took it from him
They could have worked together and d got a conscience and opted out but syphus did not want to stop so d transferred the files we see in the emulator to make it where Matt has someone on his side and help him out from the inside of what it was at the time d was there
I'm feeling like "D" stand for Doctor since the others in the chats write to him as if they are superior ´, as well as for the fact that he has all the answers about the tests
The others didn't really talk to D as if they were superior in my opinion. In the first chat B27 tried to give D orders and D disregarded them. B27 even said those are just orders I've been given. Making me think D has more authority seeing as he said no to both people he chatted with. Maybe B27, GR, and D are all scientists/doctors but D is the head scientists/doctors. I don't think Nelson is nessisarily a scientist but maybe a boss. Someone to watch things and make sure everything is going right.
I believe them saying “The break room is out of coffee creamer” is like a code word so they know that it’s them or they can be starting a conversation about a specific thing Edit: didn’t think this would get so many comments and likes but I guess if you’d like Matt to know this info give it a like? Also big fan of the vids :)
@@LivLovesCrochet I believe what ThermoArcher100 means is that the conversation they had about the coffee creamer is a series of set code phrases that they repeat to each other to make sure that they are who they say they are, allowing them to talk about confidential information freely.

They tried opening SD card but it was from binoculars/video recorder. They didn't tried opening that one yet (or maybe they did). If not they should do it
What if that was a sort of enigma, like what the Germans used to communicate, if you have the key, “hazelnut” you can “read the letter” or in this case, talk to others,
"they're out of cream in the breakroom." "regular or Vanilla?" "hazelnut." "order confirmed." That's a countersign Matt. Maybe if you were to call Syphus again, or D, you should try to use that.
Idk if it would be in use to this date. Also I might be possible that only a few people know of this case and if all of those people turns out to be involved and against you they can easily found out the progress you have made not like that matters cause it is on TH-cam
D is probably the doctor doing all of the experiments. And he is probably not doing it willingly. He is probably like the doctor in Mandolorian, where he is interested in learning about grogue, but doesn’t want to harm him or do anything immoral.
We know their names, Mary, Natalia, Osamu, Robert, Jenna, mark, “classified” and Charlotte, those are the names listed, Jenna was the only recorded death, it’s most likely her, that haunts hi 5
Wait this it just me or did someone’s else’s brain go straight to the keys when mentioning the experiment numbers. Like maybe there are more boxes with different chemicals in it that the keys/ numbers go to?
I thought that maybe the keys are the experiments rooms and that the keys would go to rooms around the Unit meaning that the rooms in the Unit were probably the experiments rooms if that made any sense
I have a theory: there was once a subject that was tested on with a drug. The experiment went fine except the patient got heavily addicted to the drug. That patient like the others was numbered. He was numbered... 590. After the base had been sold to Hi-5 they hid all the equipment and drugs for later use if the base was ever sold. Subject 590 had other plans though. 590, now known as syphus, was having horrible withdraws from his addiction to the point where he found an old science key fob from the lab and entered the building, breaking in the door to sams office and injected himself with the drug gun.
I feel like since Syphus590 was the username its more likely that he was a fellow scientist. Same theory applies tho. He got addicted to the drug. Which would explain why he knows where everything is including the computer.
That makes a lot of sense but this was on the computer talking about stuff. so do you have to be 18 to go through an experiment like this person I mean he looks pretty young but to be at least 40 I would think idk
36:20 I think how they got all of these “willing subjects” is by doing those tests that you found out about in those papers about the mind controlling thing ( 13:36 ) that made them say they would do it. Thats probably why there was an abundance of “willing test subjects” for them to test on. Or maybe the mind control tests were done on the workers and D started becoming self-aware . I think that tests were injecting the patients with the fluid. I think that “Syphus” was maybe the name of the experiment which included injecting the patient with the fluid with that injector gun. There could have been other experiments that they did so they had names for each one. Maybe “Syphus” ( who you call the guy ) was a test subject and was patient number 590 and is addicted to the fluid so he came back for more. When he was banging on the door in that one video he seemed pretty crazy. Also when he searched your building and threw things around that one time he broke in, he didn’t take anything. Also I think D was a worker (obviously) but he realized how awful and immoral it was so he quit or maybe he was fired for saying it was unethical and/or for questioning the company’s doings. I think he is now trying to expose the company by helping you by sending the floppy disk emu thing. And the “creamer” code is definitely a code to make sure that it is safe to talk about the sensitive info and them making sure that no one else that shouldn’t be communicating isn’t impersonating a worker and getting sensitive information about the company. Basically, if you were asked the question and you answered wrong than they would know that you aren’t a worker or someone who shouldn’t be told the specific information.
I completely agree with everything you said. Love the idea about the test subjects, and going along with how maybe "D" worked with and for them but didn't want to help them, "D" could have been forced to help them.
I just had a huge realization, maybe the paranormal activity they encounter in their office is related to this all. My reasoning is that, as seen in the initial patient list, then confirmed on the second chat log, there were deaths occurring within the facilities, and not to mention to the point where these people could have such a nonchalant conversation about it. Maybe the paranormal activity within Hi5 studios is linked to the deceased patients of the Syntec testing? Edit: they also mention how they believe that what they've read from the chat logs could likely have been illegal testing, and this is also very well possible since the LAPD considered everything around the happenings of the studio as classified information. Another theory is that the keys were somewhat linked to test subjects, and that it's possible "failed" test subject keys are practically useless, and that the keys which have meaning are ones of "successful" test subjects.
Chills, literal chills. The Pegasus sub section could mean the Pegasus room. So in other words, then reason why Pegasus was pointing towards Matt’s new room where they found the chemical safe was because it was the former Pegasus room where they stored their subjects.
“They’re out of cream in the breaker room” “regular or vanilla?” “hazelnut.” this is a code. a code to show that they are the true identity and not a faker trying to find classified information on the computer.
Wouldn't a more technical term for that be a "call sign" in which to confirm that you are talking to an ally in which the have to respond with the right counter to the call sign?
This is a sort of cliche in spy movies as well. Like you see someone who might be your informant for a mission but you have to make sure and make it seem like a regular conversation, but have an answer that a civilian or someone not involved wouldn't know to use. That's where I recognized it from
Wow!....They planted the seeds for Gary Reynolds (GR in the chat logs) to show up all the way back here in this episode. We've just found out in the last week or so that Gary Reynolds is a military commander working with Syntec. I just can't believe that Matt and his team had the foresight to plant the seeds for Gary Reynolds to show up, all the way back here in January 2021. This story has been so well thought out, and the attention to plot details is insane. GREAT JOB! Spellbound, Inc. I can't imagine what the bubble chart for Project: 863 looks like.
Try emailing John Doe “We are out of creamer in the break room”, but from a different email so if he does happen to be “bad”, then there is no harm to you guys...
Matt youre probably not going to see this but it seems to me like d was a part of this whole operation at some point, but didn't agree with the practices that b27, Nelson, and potentially syphus were doing to people. Thats why he's helping you now, he's trying to make right what happened so many years ago. Thats why he sent you information on the computer, if he wasnt trying to help you, he wouldn't have let you know that he was a part of syntec
@@angelicmercenary I think now syphus might be .. gone .. if you get my meaning.. we haven't seen him since he injected himself with whatever that liquid is, I remember he first wired the LAPD case into their internet & then came back for the vials he used in the injection gun. Since then there hasn't been any sign of him. D said syphus was all that was left of whatever was going on in the lab. We know now the building was completely bought by HI5, to make things even weird the tv show C.S. I. broke their lease they had on the building they had a crew in the building. I think they saw or found something that was involved in ALL of the recent events that involve the building. D said the building had been investigated before either by LAPD or I believe the FBI ( remember D said investigated by a special unit, he never made preference to who that unit was)
Theory brewing that I've considered for a while: What if Syphus was a member of this and is actively attempting to shut it down. D was someone who was there as well, who did not leave. D knows where all of these things are and has evidently provided the materials to move you forwards. Does this indicate he already was there in the past? Is he trying to gain information about the logs through your videos? Is he looking for a way back in? Could Syphus be the one trying to help by actively attempting to keep things such as the chemical, the car, the safe, and other things away from you just to keep you safe from Syntec? Many questions. Even more so: What if the person breaking in is D? EDIT: Written before finishing the video; just a theory!
I think the “they’re out of cream in the coffee room” is a code, to make sure they are who they are supposed to be. Like when they say regular or vanilla hazelnut is the safe code
The possible undercover cop said cyphus 590 is all that's left maybe when he said that it means he was a patient and is the only one left alive 590 would be his experiential name and that liquid is the experiment
Exactly can’t connect to internet so can’t be traced. I think they were doing these experiments closer to Matt buying the places than he thinks. They are saying all this happened in the 80 but they could’ve just used old tech to stay untraced
ok so i have done some digging and syphus, pegasus are all "buildings" like how you guys have blue base and red base, with that saying syphus"590" is how many people they have in each building,pegasus"773" is how many people they have in pegasus.
Did you see How no one is talking about how when there on the directory it looks like the files are perfectly spaced to make what looks like the word/ abbreviation iDA and Also each subject had a 3 number and letter combo so there is most likely each Key is someone's key or if they failed with the experiment they most likely had a morg where they keep the dead so the key might open each morg capsel. The key that John doe had named might have been his key/ if he's a under cover cop he must of went under cover as a subject and got a key
It's sad to me that I keep wanting these video's to be longer - then I realize I'm so drawn into the story that the 44 minute video only feels like 15 minutes and that annoys me. I don't even care if this is real or not anymore - I just want to grab the popcorn and keep watching.
The “discussion” about “cream” is definitely a code or password that’s meant to confirm someone’s identity and level of access to information, since someone that shouldn’t have access to classified information wouldn’t be filled in on details like code words or phrases, and therefore wouldn’t be able to impersonate someone else who did, unless they collaborated with the individual who did know the code words or phrases.
@@hannahcorey646 surely hazelnut is the code word Because even if someone found out about the “riddle” they most likely wouldn’t know the answer to the question and wouldn’t have access
Listen to this. The test subjects were being called by 3 digit numbers and all the keys they have are only THREE DIGIT NUMBERS! What if the keys were like keys to rooms that they trapped the subjects in
It sounds like Pegasus is a sector of a government organisation from the 80’s. And once there experiments became compromised they went into hiding and tried to keep developing their drugs.
maybe and this is just a thought but maybe each experiment has a 3 digit code therefor maybe syphus is not a worker but a patient and the experiment that got used on him was experiment 863
Trending makes no sense whatsoever. It just tosses stuff up there, hardly based off views. Maybe views per minute, but nobody really knows. Or maybe I’m just stupid
I havent watched all of the episodes yet but my current theory is that matthias is project 863, this is an experiment on the owners of that warehouse maybe, idk
Hi, mid “is this Humane?” They just mentioned blue base and that made me think of how blue base used to have half walls to divide for “office spaces” when they first got it... then I thought: what if they weren’t always half walls? What if they were full walls, and those were room for the test subjects?
THEORY: My theory is how each “test subject” has a 3 digit number. We know that there are a lot of keys with 3 digit numbers. What if each key went to the room of the patient? EDIT: WOW, THANKS FOR THE LIKES GUYS😳🥲 EDIT 2: Y’all mind dropping a sub?🥺😄
My theory is that Pegasus was the name of this experiment, Nelson is the boss or head of their section, D and the other people in chats are the workers or scientists. I think what ever they were testing was super dangeroud or powerful, so there were many people who volunteered to get this 'medication' or whatever they are testing( I think the thing you found in the viles from the safe). O think the vox of keys were for rooms for each patient and that Syphus was one of the patients, but he now wants to get the powerful chemicals that the Pegasus people were making and is coming back to get it, D is a past Pegasus employee but left because he/she didn't agree with the ethical issues. Someone is trying to help you uncover this mystery(john doe) because he wants this project to be properly shut down and wants the whole thing to be brought to justice. This is my thought process I might be wrong but it makes sense in my head.
So I was looking back at the video and the logo on the mug they found was looking very familiar. It reminded me of the snake logo on the villas of liquid they found. They both have the same clover/cloud shape and we’re found at the same building. So my theory is that Syntec used the logo on the mug as a cover up to look like a regular Buissness to attract ‘patients’ but their true logo for their organization was the one with the snakes that was doing the experiments on their ‘patients’.
When it says “I’ll be in touch with the legal team” it got me thinking what if they where doing something illegal and they had another team to cover up what they where doing and where acting as though they where researchers. This is just a theory I have that I thought I should share:)
Nobody: Me: Does that mean the numbers they were stating are numbers that exists on the keys ;0;, meaning thta those keys go to a room for each patient

Remember on the office when Dwight installed that security door and had passwords for people to get in? Like erin would say “the tea in Nepal is very hot” and they would say “but the coffee in Peru is much hotter” I think that’s what the coffee creamer talk is, it’s a password of some sort to see if that person is safe to talk to or something
also, is he was the “leader/boss”, why would he hide everything, like that safe if the vents, keys in the wall, and stuff in the mountaineer just to break in Matt’s buildings and ruin the mountaineer?
i read them all, two patients recovered but that person was terminated from the project i don’t think that means they died but maybe they got a result they didn’t like???

Yes . Do that matt
Like it for Mat to see it!
Yeah, let's call one of those sinister scientists!
It wouldn't be a good idea to tell syphus they have access to the computer. Plus Matt seems very uncomfortable calling/ hearing syphus voice.
Although we know syphus is aware and watching the vids so the gig is already up
Wait a second, D gave them the disk thing for the username Syphus590, right? So either D and Syphus are the same person, or they definitely know each other and D took it from him
They could have worked together and d got a conscience and opted out but syphus did not want to stop so d transferred the files we see in the emulator to make it where Matt has someone on his side and help him out from the inside of what it was at the time d was there
Yeah
D didn’t give them the username, they found it in the car on a piece of paper
or like sam said D is john doe cuz matthias didnt ask if he send that box with that thing
@madison whitney after the past few video i doubt D is john doe
I'm feeling like "D" stand for Doctor since the others in the chats write to him as if they are superior ´, as well as for the fact that he has all the answers about the tests
Omg ur a genius
exactly mann
I thought the exact same thing!! I'm glad I'm not alone.
@@disneywolf2118 true, however what I mean is simply that D surely isn't in charge.
I believe them saying “The break room is out of coffee creamer” is like a code word so they know that it’s them or they can be starting a conversation about a specific thing
Edit: didn’t think this would get so many comments and likes but I guess if you’d like Matt to know this info give it a like? Also big fan of the vids :)
Huh?
What I was thinking too
I think the "hazelnut" response has more to do with topics
Exactly. Is like a code so that they can start the discussion!!
@@LivLovesCrochet I believe what ThermoArcher100 means is that the conversation they had about the coffee creamer is a series of set code phrases that they repeat to each other to make sure that they are who they say they are, allowing them to talk about confidential information freely.
The file at 18:20 is a VIDEO FILE TYPE!!! An “.avi” file stands for “Audio Video Interleave!” Maybe if you put the microSD into a computer you’ll be able to see if it really is a video!
Edit: I typed this comment immediately after I saw the file name. I just got to the end of the video where they discuss the file type!
Exactly what I was thinking... Matt you should really try it out!
They tried opening SD card but it was from binoculars/video recorder. They didn't tried opening that one yet (or maybe they did). If not they should do it
Is “they’re out of coffee cream in the break room?”, “regular or vanilla”, and “Hazelnut” a code?
It’s definitely code
its seams like it
i think it is a confirmation code so they know its the person they want to talk to
and not someone else
It definitely a code
The coffee conversation was a confirmation so they know no one has been "compromised" or something (best word i can think of)
its like a password phrase or something
Yes
It reminds me of like speakeasies
What if that was a sort of enigma, like what the Germans used to communicate, if you have the key, “hazelnut” you can “read the letter” or in this case, talk to others,
Damn I'm glad there are others that said this cause I would've worded it horribly XD
"they're out of cream in the breakroom."
"regular or Vanilla?"
"hazelnut."
"order confirmed."
That's a countersign Matt. Maybe if you were to call Syphus again, or D, you should try to use that.
Idk if it would be in use to this date. Also I might be possible that only a few people know of this case and if all of those people turns out to be involved and against you they can easily found out the progress you have made not like that matters cause it is on TH-cam
that could work possibly

The Mandalorian was all I was thinking about when they said test subject.

@@meganbrady280 where they keep their experiment patients
Oh my god! Dope or Nope!
I mean, that John Doe guy from the emails did say syphus was "All that was left" he could be a patient
Good idea
I feel like since Syphus590 was the username its more likely that he was a fellow scientist. Same theory applies tho. He got addicted to the drug. Which would explain why he knows where everything is including the computer.
That makes a lot of sense but this was on the computer talking about stuff. so do you have to be 18 to go through an experiment like this person I mean he looks pretty young but to be at least 40 I would think idk
is it just me or it seems like because of all the “failed” experiments that’s why the studios haunted.
maybe they must of been experiments on d-class personal
That is a really smart theory
Thats interesting
Ngl that kinda makes sense
Im getting thoughs vibes to honestly...
props to the editors for sorting out through hours of footage, its crazy to even think about how much work that might have been.
36:20
I think how they got all of these “willing subjects” is by doing those tests that you found out about in those papers about the mind controlling thing ( 13:36 ) that made them say they would do it.
All of my thoughts
This deserves more attention
I completely agree with everything you said. Love the idea about the test subjects, and going along with how maybe "D" worked with and for them but didn't want to help them, "D" could have been forced to help them.
@@klvukosic992 yeah or maybe D was a part of it intil they realized what they were doing was bad
Edit:
they also mention how they believe that what they've read from the chat logs could likely have been illegal testing, and this is also very well possible since the LAPD considered everything around the happenings of the studio as classified information.
Another theory is that the keys were somewhat linked to test subjects, and that it's possible "failed" test subject keys are practically useless, and that the keys which have meaning are ones of "successful" test subjects.
Ur getting somewhere..
Chills, literal chills.
The Pegasus sub section could mean the Pegasus room. So in other words, then reason why Pegasus was pointing towards Matt’s new room where they found the chemical safe was because it was the former Pegasus room where they stored their subjects.
Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl
Yes also it could possibly be an organization that experiments on human subjects... willing human subjects... y’all is this stranger things like?
@Matthew Hachey yes. 863 is the original key. I believe what led them to the ts5

Man going back and watching these knowing what I know now is crazy! The project has come a LONG way.

Thats actually a really great idea
Matt youre probably not going to see this but it seems to me like d was a part of this whole operation at some point, but didn't agree with the practices that b27, Nelson, and potentially syphus were doing to people. Thats why he's helping you now, he's trying to make right what happened so many years ago. Thats why he sent you information on the computer, if he wasnt trying to help you, he wouldn't have let you know that he was a part of syntec
What if Syphus was a subject (he has 590 in his name) so maybe he is a subject looking for revenge or help. Maybe his code was 590.
I agree with this as well.
I know it’s a stretch but what if d was the person who contacted Matt I know it’s unlikely but so is everything that has happened so far
D said the building had been investigated before either by LAPD or I believe the FBI ( remember D said investigated by a special unit, he never made preference to who that unit was)
I agree but I think D put the save there and want you to find this room and he wants to do the right thing
Maybe the LAPD officer is "Syphus" and "Syphus" is D, and D is trying to shut it down definitely like you said
What if... Syphus is D?

The “discussion” about “cream” is definitely a code or password that’s meant to confirm someone’s identity and level of access to information, since someone that shouldn’t have access to classified information wouldn’t be filled in on details like code words or phrases, and therefore wouldn’t be able to impersonate someone else who did, unless they collaborated with the individual who did know the code words or phrases.

I feel like Syphus is Nelson, or the "lead scientist" and that's why he's been going through all this stuff and has access to everything he does.
But the patient log file on the computer had redacted parts to it if he was in charge none of it would be redacted
also, is he was the “leader/boss”, why would he hide everything, like that safe if the vents, keys in the wall, and stuff in the mountaineer just to break in Matt’s buildings and ruin the mountaineer?
I think Syphus is way to young. Or the person showing up at their studio isn’t syphus and someone completely different
@@ashlyn3820 but he also could've been very good at what he was doing...which gave him alot of respect/reputation
I paused it and one of the top things said “status: terminated”
I saw that as well I was like OOOP
i read them all, two patients recovered but that person was terminated from the project i don’t think that means they died but maybe they got a result they didn’t like???
@@ya.lanyaa or that they (syntec) killed them
