Orchids never die they’re special flowers When you think they’re gone or wilt to their flame They still are a shores of secret powers Someday overnight fell bloom again She passed away that’s what they say But I know better She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable She’s invisible, but I know She can see and hear me She’s watching, she’s near me She’s invincible. Orchids always were her favourite flowers Beautiful like her mysteriously blessed She was certain of her secret powers She could be adored But not possessed Now she’s in sea they say to me But I know better She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable She’s invisible, but I know She can see and hear me She’s watching, she’s near me Like she always was No man ever made her become his part She was free and proud She was self-assured and smart No man ever will look into her heart She can live without that kind of love She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable She’s invisible, but I know She can see and hear me She’s watching, she’s near me She’s invincible. (She’s invisible She’s invincible)*2
For me, Pia ist the best Mrs. Danvers. I saw her this year in summer in Tecklenburg, and it was so fascinating. I also listened to Susan, and she's also really good, but I think Pia is still better.

I tried to type in the lyrics, but please note that the it may contain errors, as I’m not a native speaker. The words in italics are the ones I think I misunderstood, so please correct them. Thanks.
Ja.... Ih wisst was ich meine :D
They probably wanted to use a flower that was easier to pronounce, but I still find it a little funny that they had the azalea as Ich’s flower when in the book that was also one of Rebecca’s.
@fulsnapefan :) I replied you at the other video where you asked for this lyrics - REBECCA: "the shadow of a ghost?" (For some reason yt doesn't let me link it...)
Awesome song, it perfectly captures Rebecca and how Mrs Danvers felt about her.
This song has taken on a GLORIOUS new meaning recently!
Orchids never die they’re special flowers
When you think they’re gone or wilt to their flame
They still are a shores of secret powers
Someday overnight fell bloom again
She passed away that’s what they say
But I know better
She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable
She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable
She’s invisible, but I know
She can see and hear me
She’s watching, she’s near me
She’s invincible.
Orchids always were her favourite flowers
Beautiful like her mysteriously blessed
She was certain of her secret powers
She could be adored
But not possessed
Now she’s in sea they say to me
But I know better
She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable
She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable
She’s invisible, but I know
She can see and hear me
She’s watching, she’s near me
Like she always was
No man ever made her become his part
She was free and proud
She was self-assured and smart
No man ever will look into her heart
She can live without that kind of love
She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable
She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable
She’s invisible, but I know
She can see and hear me
She’s watching, she’s near me
She’s invincible.
(She’s invisible

Cant wait to see rebecca in west end my fave book and film
this woman is THE goddess!
Michaela Rakosova Pia Douwes is soooo good *_*
But in the german version is she even better *_*
Pia my queen!!!!!
i love this song, both in English and German

never ever
What an EPIC song! **** I've got goosebumps!
Thank you so much for posting this in english. I hope I can see the whole thing some day. And Mrs Danvers RULES!
GLORIOUS!!!
She’s invisible, but I know
She can see and hear me
She’s watching, she’s near me

One of my Favorite stories from Du Marier. also love My Cousin Rachel and Dragonwyck
there need to be an official englesh cd.
I feel like the first verse should be like this:
Orchids never die they’re special flowers
When you think they’re gone or wilt to the flame
There still are all sorts of secret powers (Pretty sure that Pia sang "They still are all sorts of secret powers", but that does not make sense grammatically...)
Someday overnight they'll bloom again
She passed away that’s what they say
But I know better
I think the line you’re wondering about is “They still are a source of secret powers”
She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable
She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable
She’s invisible, but I know
She can see and hear me
She’s watching, she’s near me
She’s invincible.
Orchids always were her favourite flowers
Beautiful like her mysteriously blessed
She was certain of her secret powers
She could be adored
But not possessed
Now she’s in sea they say to me
But I know better
She’s invincible, she’s unbeatable
She is much too strong to die, she’s undefeatable
Where can one get the English version? Pia is so awesome and creepy!
I love how "creepy" is a compliment here ^^
Would SCREAM if I found out Pia played Yellow Diamond on the German or Dutch dub if Steven Universe shed be perfect.
Now I need an amv of Yellow Diamond singing this song make that two, one with her singing about Blue Diamond and the other with Pink Diamond
@@rosegirl3220could see it about pink definitely
I tried to type in the lyrics, but please note that the it may contain errors, as I’m not a native speaker. The words in italics are the ones I think I misunderstood, so please correct them. Thanks.

Does anyone know if the English version is available on CD?
Where can I find a cd/dvd?

The Rhododendron is Rebecca's flower

Susan Rigvava Dumas is much better!
But I can understand this!:)
wos die ned ois is
Susan is better
