@4:44 here number 8,15,15 are the units shown in the graph. And 1,2,(3 which is kerala),4(telangana) are rank of countries based on the units of ipc crimes.(we are numbering based on the units of the graph and leaving out maharastra as we already know it is 3) 3 is skipped as the rank is already given in the table, so 1 -> delhi, 2-> goa , 3-> maharastra and karnataka.4 is left out because when two states are given the same rank we leave the rank of 4(as said by the sir in the beginning) and 5 is the rank of kerala based on the unit of the graph. Hope it helps.😄
I don't understand why kerala's ipc can't be 4, it has around 8 cases and telengana has around 4, there could be a state with cases ranging between 8 and 4 so that would make kerala's rank 4
The number of states which have a greater number of IPC cases than Kerela are four. They are Delhi, Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka. Therefore according to the given ranking rule, Kerela is given a rank equal to 5.
I thought of it this way- WB is rank 1 (Given), we then have a rank 2- This means no repetition of rank 1. Now, we have rank 4 given to us 2 times- and we also have rank 6- meaning there cannot be more than 2 rank 4's.(otherwise we won't have rank 6). So Delhi cannot be rank 4, being just above 33, it has to be rank 3 since it is definitely lesser than the crime numbers for rank 1 and rank 2. Based on ranking methodology alone, possibilities were either rank 2 or rank 3,(1224 or 1234) but we know that Delhi's crime number was lesser than Karnataka- so Rank 3

In the last question of this set, why Delhi cannot have rank 4? like Maharashtra and goa?
