Sullivan Fortner; always creative and incredibly musical in his approach.

Thank you very much for your comment, it's an honor for me from a talented musician! I really loved Peter Bernstein's concert! He's really a very good guitarist! Whouaa! What luck for me not to have missed his passage on Paris! I will not be in France on August 15th but I hope to have the opportunity to hear you at Sunside (my favorite place with the New Morning to listen and see the musicians I love) I already subscribe to your channel for correct my gap! I hope that among the people present at your concert, some will put online videos of the concert. thank you again.

    Peter isn't liking the drummer

Hey David. I assume you're saying that because of something you sensed in this video. I didn't get that. The trio is playing a bit more "free-ish" at times than the contexts I'm used to hearing Bernstein play in. Maybe it put him a little out of his comfort zone. That can be a good thing, of course. I thought this sounded great all 'round. Gonna check out the other vid right now :)

I do not censor your comment David, being for free expression, but it seems that your personal comment about Peter is not appropriate on youtube. As a spectator, the day of the concert, I did not feel animosity of this kind. There may be tension in a group, and for a variety of reasons, it is common. What matters is the final rendering and what their audience hears. We can not get into the personal lives of artists, as well as everywhere else and in other areas, we may be working with people we do not get along with, but that only concerns the people involved. Musically yours. Pascale

@@pascalecbluesjazz it wasn't a personal comment about Peter at all. Peter Bernstein is one of my favorite musicians in the world. It just seemed that the drummer was playing so free that it wasn't swinging. Peter even looked at him at one point as to say "what are you doing " at which point the drummer started playing time on the ride symbol. I made a harmless comment. Chill Out.

Leon Parker, who Peter's been playing / recording with for ~30 years, and who's on his current tour? lulz.
