Amazing anime, even if the animation in season 1 isn’t the best. I personally choose to look past it because few other anime even try doing battles of this size. The animation also improves every season. I would even go so far as to say season 3 and 4 animation is pretty dang good. If you like war anime give this a shot. The beginning can be rough but the show gets good fast.
they should honestly remake season 1 and 2 with 3 and 4 kind of animation, the 3d cgi thing is definitely what holds those 2 first seasons back by a lot
Every panel in the manga feels so vibrant with the emotions that Yasuhisa Hara tries to convey, even the comedic ones, this is quite the travesty in comparison.

If you have not read berserk manga you can’t say it’s anime is trash. You are not experiencing any of these series if your watching the anime it is like a completely different series. It is the equivalent to saying dbz evolution is good when you haven’t watched dbz anime or read manga. You don’t understand why it’s trash.

honestly the warfare is good but the real masterpiece of this series is the political battles withnin the palace.
Seems better reading manga at least until S3 cause animations are poor
