As lifetime comicbook fan , i can say its a wonderfull series . This series captures the idea of super heroes in a warm positive way , embracing the silly , the seriousness , and the overall heroism. More than many current comics
Damian Russo I think the main reason it's like that is because I'm pretty sure the person who wrote the manga, is a massive fan of superheros, his favourite being Spider-Man
This is a great series to start on, and it is nice to see the reactions of a newcomer. Just a quick note: "anime" is a medium, not a genre. Like you can say you like "movies" but there's action, thriller, romcom, sports, etc. You don't have to like every genre of movie, same goes for anime. There's a lot of anime you probably won't like, but don't let that steer you away from ones that shine, like this one.
When you want to talk you should pause and say what you want to say, that's a great way of reacting in the moment without missing important stuff! I'm glad you started to watch BNHA, I subbed now! And please stay with subs!
Im pretty you going to love my hero academia. Another super hero anime would be One punch man which is more a comedy, but it has action, and superheroes.
Boku no hero academia or my hero academia is about a quirkless boy named, izuku midoriya aka deku by his childhood friend(he used to be) Izuku happens to idolizes one of the most pro hero which is all might wondering if someone with no powers can still be a hero and he got his answer. The one scene with his mother when he asks her wasn't the answer he wanted since she was just pitying him and another thing izuku is really good at analyzing things and situations as since in his notes.
I just want to say that some Quirks are crazy, from superpower/element powers to things like a guy with sticky balls growing as hair. Reading will be really important so you can understand the characters, their powers an everything else. Nice reaction :)

It's good to see you're getting invested ^^ If you want to make the most of your crunchyroll subscription , you should really watch Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood . It is considered by many to be , not only the best anime ever , but the best show ever . It's 64 episodes long , it's really amazing , FMA reactions get a LOOT of views because the reactions are really good . Also it's a really good show for people who are not very familiar to anime (it's not "TOO japanese" in a way xD) You should really react to this show if you can find the time , it's amazing . Don't let anyone spoil it to you , don't look up anything about it before starting .
Personally, after experiencing all those formats you talked about with other reaction channels, I prefer this one. Reacting to the important stuff. On riff, it's always hard for the streamer to both watch and interact with chat without missing something on screen (doesn't help that riff hasn't fully released globally yet, so that's also a minus cause most viewers outside the US aren't willing to jump through hoops just to watch it, and I can understand that, from a consumer stand point) and the full format (even if divided into parts) only brings a higher chance for copyright strikes. So your best bet would be the cut reaction to the important parts. As for sub or dub, this show is one of the few where both the sub and dub are good but i prefer the sub because I just feel the VA fit a bit better to the american VAs. Except for All Might, both his VAs are godlike. Edit: formatting and some grammar.

I want to recommend not to always look at the previews to the next episode because it will at times spoil thing to come. But they're are episodes with special scenes like at the end of the ending.

No they aren't really "train" to pass all might. It would take years before the can come up to his level. The U.A is a school that helps them become a pro hero to train to be a hero.

Maybe give that option a shot for the 2nd episode instead of cutting it in 3 videos. But i am totally fine with whatever format you go with. Boku no Hero is essentially the society Magneto dreamed of - regular humans are almost extinct and "mutants" have taken over as the general population.
About the school stuff: Everyone goes to a primary school but where does this person will go is dependent in the person just like in real life. If the person want to be a hero they will go to a school where they teach the hero stuff,. if he wants to be for exemple an engineer he will go to an engineer school just like in real life BUT if the person has a power that can help him in his work he will probably use it to it's fullest potential. So for exemple if the guy can create cement he will PROBABLY be a builder or something. Sorry for bad english, not my native language. :D
i subscribed coz you are one of the true watchers of anime. ... wish you can get more subs. glad to see somebody got hooked to anime just as the rest of the world are.,... you will eventually get used to the subs and ur gonna be reading it subconsciously. there is a difference watching anime on raw format with subs and anime with dub. you will kinda get the feeling on watching the raw better.

Here's my take (I'm spewing my opinions now) on the formats you proposed - 1. A good idea to avoid copyright, but new-comers to the seiries might miss out and possibly miss important details. Also you might gloss over something that a fan of the show wanted you to see. 2. My preference. It fixes the issue above, but it is exposed to copyright... 3. Probably the best for copyright issues, but - like for me, that's British - you might not get everyone who wants to see it as I sometimes have notifications at 1:00AM, plus I'm a student so the majority of my day is spent at school. Not only that, but if you do have to pay then not everyone (me included) won't pay.

Just some notes. The world is pretty simple. There are heroes and villains, being a hero is like a job and it's the only job where you can use your power. If you're not officially working as a hero then it's illegal for you to use your power. They don't teach the kids how to use their powers in schools because, unless you want to be a hero then you can't use it anyway. There are certain places like UA High (with was mentioned in the ep) which are specialized in training future heroes.
They never say anywhere that it is illegal to use your power if you are not a hero. Izuku's mom uses her power and it's not illegal... not sure where you got that idea.

Many generations ago, people began being born with quirks (glowing baby scene), as generations went by, it became more and more frequent for someone being born with a quirk, that leads us to now where 80% of the world having a quirk. Eventually Laws were passed for people with quirks where they had to go to a Super Hero High School, graduate and obtain a license, become a hero/sidekick, to be able to use their quirk freely but heroically. There are many hero schools across the world but there are also prestigious ones like U.A. High school (where the greatest heroes are alumni members of). Eventually heroes were ranked and All Might became the #1 hero since he was the best, so U.A.'s purpose isnt to surpass All Might, just a very prestigious school to become a hero at, like an Ivy League school. PS both sub and dub are great in my opinion, so if you're not feeling up to reading subtitles, the dub is good too, because sometimes im like that, haha.
Also, for future reference, this type of anime is called a Shounen (which is the Japanese word for teenage boy) and typically involves large scale battles and coming of age stories. But BNHA is without a doubt one of the best Shounen anime ever. Hunter X Hunter is also really good, but that anime has upwards of 100 episodes and the pacing doesn't tend to suit reaction videos.
