Yo fl studio added a stem extraction tool. Basically you can extract stems from a single beat or loop, also serato sample vsts does it also I believe. Maybe u could another video where u extract the AI beat and make your own version 😂
I feel that! That's why I think having a brand is so important. I think it'll be a superrrrrr long time (if ever) that AI will be able to generate a good personal brand, post content, and connect with customers on a personal level like we still can 💪💪
Even though it's in the beginning stages, I don't think it'll take over...completely.. the quality will get better over time though. It may become an issue for producers who solely produce beats for sync placements. Music libraries won't have to rely on producers/artist for music as much.
music production has always and will always be about your prompt, all the ai can do is cut down the time it takes to make the beat. the best producers know exactly what they want their beats to sound like before they even click a button. Many artists either don't know what they want, or don't know what the new hot sound is until an innovative producer shows it to them
Of course!! I felt like all these beats were missing that human element. I like what you said about cutting down the time it takes though. I could see that being a useful aspect of it.
I tried this a couple of months ago. I had it generated all kinds of genres. The quality is terrible. What I did was stem out the musical parts because I can easily make the beat. I put the stems in ableton and had it create midi tracks. Unfortunately, the stems are so bad that Ableton can't detect the notes properly. It took a lot of work to recreate it in high-quality audio. I will say that it did create some dope funky beats, but the quality is unusable.
Ai overall is pretty good thing, it can't destroy human work because its will never be perfect, but it can give alot of ideas, generate something that can't just come in your head for some reason, something unexpected, maybe its like with arts, someone lazy will use it like "Haha look, i created a beat just out of two words, what if i sell that", and someone stupid will found "Hm sounds good, im gonna buy it haha", but big problem still there, if human can give Ableton kit with stems and samples, and presets, AI just gives you one poorly mixed generated sound
My new course about selling beats is launching soon! Click here to join the waitlist: omitobeats.net/producers

This sketches me out.
Hopefully it gets to the point that we all decide to only support human made art

That's what I was thinking too. The AI-generated beats sounded more like sync ones instead of radio ones.
