A local haulier near me had the first Foden 4000 series truck fitted with the N14 525 engine in the UK. He was the chief test owner / driver for Cummins and the new engine at the time. It was finished in an eye catching green and gold livery and spent most of its time hauling agricultural bulk loads of grain and lime and quarry products. It always sounded great when you heard it on the road.
@johnyjakebrake5825 Not that I can recall, it drove well. I stripped the gearbox when it was around 18 months old as it wouldn't change gear smoothly. You've made a wonderful job of restoring it, would love to see it again.
I mot'd that around 2005ish at Wolverhampton gvts when I joined dvsa . Kevin is a grand chap. She's a lovely looking lorry and sounds sweet . Top job on the colours
@@spenstrangward5126 thanks for your comment. If you look at my other videos there's a shot of her pulling away with a wagon on the back it's not heavy but it's giving it something to chew on.👍
@@johnyjakebrake5825 The ERFs just got the M11 380, Ive got the jakes to go on it sitting in my van now, bought them off Josh Miller but I haven't fitted them yet because Josh is lending me the books for fitting and setting them up then he is going to turn them on and turn her up to a 405/410

Brings back memories of A &J bulls XL foden, although I'm pretty sure they ran a Cat powered fleet of fodens alongside f12's.
Brings back memories I learnt to drive in one of those with an Eaton twin split no tracker or computer's happy days 😊

@@50018Resolution cheers 22 months into resto now, nowhere nearfinished but on the road now. I've rebuilt the Auxiliary box on the gear box.
