EQ-smoove Decompression sickness (DS) has varying symptoms - "the bends" are a physical sensation, and she did not report those. However, she "was not feeling well" (self-attributed to a possible hangover, which, btw, has similar neurological symptoms to DS) and went to the ER. A hospital hyperbaric chamber is only used post-dive if blood gas levels are abnormal. She did not report joint pain ("the bends"), but did report cognitive issues - that's still DS
She's a really great story-teller, all of her interviews are always entertaining.

Usually we're not as passionate and we don't exagerate words when we speak to one another or tell stories. In the Spanish language if you notice, they let go everything they say slowly and passionately. Just like Salma did.
