How many passes thru field from start to harvest?

Gonna depend heavily on the year. But probably 5-8 or even more on dry years where the beans don't canopy.

Some Guys would say to Flame those Rows where you can’t get those Grass’s even after Cultivating, especially with How Tall that Corn was there at those Video Clips at The End. Many Different Options out there for Weed Control.

We do use flame weeders when needed as well! Not sure if we ended up doing that on this field that year - typically try not to rely on flame weeding if we can as of course any time you do that it's costing yield.

Do you have hills where we could see how it can hang on to a side hill? Has the camera gotten better at seeing the rows when it gets cloudy and sunny through the day? I've heard it has problems with that. Have you thought about using rolling shields instead of the ones it comes with?

We have some footage on another video we had posted. We have not heard of that being as much of a problem recently, and they do offer an LED light attachment for dusk/nighttime cultivating. Yes, small grain farmers have gone that route. The rolling discs do cost more than the protector shields, so most corn/soybeans operators don't see the value in adding the discs.

You would think with modern technology they would bring back check rows, where you can cultivate driving east west and north south.

The camera is designed by CLAAS. Price depends on weight of cultivator, can be anywhere from 30-50K USD New.
