Kylian Mbappe was racially abused after 2021 Euros yet he had won World Cup for them in 2018. Those Mzungus are biggest users of our people. It’s why I am strongly against Africans playing NFL coz it’s an ethnocentric Amerikkkan sport that should remain for Yanks and not is in the global south. They only want to use Africans to grow an international market yet they are racist towards us,including black citizens in their own country who will flame Diaspora wars if they see us in their country,so I say meh to NFL.

I'm glad that this topic has come to light because it shows that at the end of the day that having European citizenship isn't worth the paper that it's written on. Step out of line and they'll be super quick to let you know that you ain't nothing but a ninja .... and that's a fact.
In the UK about three years ago, they held the Euro football finals. The final game was between England and Italy. As the game finished level it had to be decided by penalties. Three black players, Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho missed their penalties and Italy won. As a result of this, the online abuse of these players was vile, ferocious and racist. They even received death threats. Coincidentally, prior to this incident Marcus Rashford had been a pillar in his community, raising money to help ALL children get better fed with nutritious school meals. But this didn't matter to the trolls.
But the story doesn't end there. In the World Cup, England was once again knocked out. However, Harry Kane, who is white had a penalty to take to keep England in the competition. He missed it. Guess what? No backlash from the British public. Like I said ...... step out of line in Europe and they'll be the first to let you know what they think of you.
We also need to have a deeper conversation about players of African descent who turn their backs on their African roots and choose to play and represent these racist countries ...... but maybe that's a topic for another day.

    • @notjustbaggish
      @notjustbaggish ปีที่แล้ว

The deeper conversation is the African leaders who make the living environment to be so poor that many will want to go seek their fortune elsewhere.

The lesson is loud and clear for black men in the Diaspora or black people. My father always made it clear that no son of his fights for a white man's country and put on their uniform. Because no son of his is going to come to the Caribbean or Africa to kill their own people for a white enemy and still be able to call him their father. It's that simple..Choose your side and stay with your decision. Well done Benzima. Salute to you..

Kareem Benzema has a love hate relationship with French national team. Despite playing in 2014 World Cup for France,he was omitted from the 2018 World Cup team despite having won Champions league with his club Real Madrid. After fighting his way back into French national team in 2021,he was omitted from 2022 French national team again due to an injury he had recovered from. So this does not come as a surprise that he is coming under fire for his views on Palestine. As the saying goes you are French if you win World cups, but you are an immigrant if you lose or if you support Palestine. Also another French player Eric Cantona issued a statement sympathising with Palestine, yet they are not asking to strip his French citizenship coz Eric Cantona is White French. The double standards are obvious. Last but not least it’s called football and not soccer.😅

International Law Supports Palestinian Right to Resistance
In the face of ongoing global debate regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, it is crucial to understand the legal context surrounding the Palestinian people's right to resist occupying forces. While organisations such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad are designated as proscribed groups in numerous Western nations, it is essential to recognize that many other factions choose to exercise their legal right to resist occupation. This legal right is well-established within the framework of international law.
Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory is a topic of significant concern, with its legitimacy disputed by many. According to the United Nations (UN) and the Geneva Conventions, people living under occupation have a recognized and legitimate right to resist. This right is grounded in numerous international resolutions that affirm the principles of national liberation and self-determination, even including armed struggle.
As stated in UN General Assembly resolutions, "Dozens of resolutions by the UNGA support national liberation movements in their struggle for independence and self-determination, including armed struggle, as exemplified by Resolution 2105 of 1965."
Furthermore, international humanitarian law explicitly acknowledges the right to engage in wars of national liberation as a protected and essential right for occupied populations, as outlined in Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions of 1949.
For a comprehensive understanding of the legal basis for the Palestinian right to resistance, you can refer to the following sources:
    1. UN General Assembly Resolutions: law4palestine.org/do-palestinian…
    2. International Humanitarian Law Documentation: treaties.un.org/doc/publicatio…
In light of these legal frameworks, it is evident that the Palestinian people possess a recognized right to resist occupation, supported by international law and United Nations resolutions. This right remains an essential aspect of their pursuit of self-determination and national liberation.

The Sykes-Picot agreement (1916) - the agreement between Britain, France and Russia to divide up the Ottoman Empire. Among it's terms was the establishment of the Arab state in "Southern Palestine". The word Palestine was a label put on that region by the Romans when they wanted to identify it with Israel's enemies which were the Philistines. Palestine is the latinisation or Latin equivalent for Philistine.
No nation of Palestine ever existed. That part of the world, with the exception of Israel, has always been under one empire or the other
The earliest civilisation was Egyptian followed by the Assyrian and finally the Babylonian, which took over the whole thing and became the Babylonian Empire.
      The empires:
      - Babylon
      - Persia
      - Greece
      - Rome 1
      - Rome 2
The eastern "leg" of the Roman Empire endured 1000 years more after the Western "leg" fell. We tend to call it the Byzantine (Ottoman) empire but it's really the Roman Empire in its final thousand years.
      Ottoman Empire 1536-1918
From the 16th century to the First World War this area is dominated by the Ottoman Empire. Subsequently thereafter, and in recent times, the elements below, which were previously subsumed by the empires start to emerge as independent fragments in our present scene.
The Sykes-Picot agreement and Balfour Declaration, laid the foundations for the current conflict in the Middle East.
Ask yourself why is the Israel/Palestine conflict so amplified and the so called "occupation" a big issue when the world has ignored Syrian occupation of Lebanon? Furthermore, why is Israel singled out as an aggressor and illegal occupant when most of those nations in the region did not exit as sovereign nations prior to the fall of the Ottoman Empire?
      Recent Re-emergencies
      1906 - Iran
      1921 - Afghanistan
      1922 - Egypt
      1922 - Iraq
      1924 - Turkey
      1930 - Lebanon
      1938 - Syria
      1946 - Jordan
      1947 - Pakistan
      1948 - Israel
Israel is only one of about a dozen countries formed from 1906 but it's the only country whose legitimacy and existence is persistently debated and constantly under threat. Why?

The colonisers don’t give a f**k about international law. They only care about oppression, theft and genocide, come what may! They will and have gotten away with it because of their weapons and financial tyranny via IMF and the World Bank.
But don’t worry folks their time is approaching and reaping season is in the horizon!

What many ppl dint know, every European politician has to pledge allegiance to Israel otherwise you wont get to higher echelons of power. Just look how many of them go to the Wall in Jerusalem AFTER being elected. European and American Politicians have two first trips: one to Israel the other to UAE.

Wow! I'm seeing a lot these days. Like how human rights are not God-given, but an award than man could give and take on a whim.

Yes his citizenship could be rescinded. Children of immigrants born in foreign nations are granted citizenship under laws “written by man”, those laws can be rewritten, altered or reinterpreted to strip citizenship as needed. The soccer player is not descended from an established lineage in France, he has no ethnic/genetic connection to the original population of France and he can directly trace his family to a viable current nation. He is currently a legal French citizen but not by lineage, he is “culturally” French

Good morning Zack! The world is unfair, unbalanced. Along the similar lines, I was thinking on American Indian Country, or Federally Recognize Native American Indian Tribes. For the most part sovereign within the country of America. Yet, like Africa, we are undeveloped as well, not much for local work, small business, self employment growth. The factories that make chips choose larger cities, they say due to 'education'. It benefits the American Government to keep Indian Countries in poverty. Have a blessed day!
