- We visit The Old Town Rodos and the Harbour. We check out inside the wall and see many quaint Greek taverna's shops and old cobbled streets.
We got on a bus from Ialyssos to the old town which takes about 15 minutes and cost 3 euros each way for one person. Enjoy.

So enjoyed your Rhodes vids and absolute pleasure to see them. Took me back to my honeymoon which was spent there. What a lovely place. We hired a car and the chap told us which road to travel down to go to Lindos. Off we went down this beautifully new tarmaced road and very shortly we shot off the end of the road liked a scene from a James Bond film and dropped a good 2 feet down. The guy who hired us the car didn't realize they had ran out of money and not finished the road. So many happy memories, thank you for bringing them all back Sharon and Martin

We also spotted the Megan yacht in the harbour,worth a cool 20 million dollars and owned by the richest woman in Israel.I did dm her on Instagram at the time and asked her if we could spend the afternoon on her yacht but she wasn't having it😂😂
So nice to see so many independent retailers - it might have been like that in England 100-years ago - very hard not to spend money, I'd think! Belts look great!

They had those fish tanks in the UK for a while , I got mine done in Hemel Hempstead . Then they were banned health and safety 🙄 . I’m enjoying the videos 😊
@Rose I think it was more health and for the fish,they didnt feed the poor things here,or gave them filters or air,I kept tropical fish for 30years I was appauld ☺

Right at the very end of the video, in the background over Martin's left shoulder (our right side of the screen as we look at it ) is one of the most iconic statues in Rhodes. The deer is one of two on columns, on either side of the harbour entrance, supposed to be where the statue of the Colossus of Rhodes straddled the Mandraki Harbour - where they showed us around in this video. The Colossus was of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Memory Lane for me to revisit an island I love! Thanks guys! By the way, I don't think Sharon was robbed, she got a pretty bracelet, was savvy enough not to shell out the original asking price - and gave a lady hanging around in the sunshine selling trinkets perhaps something to help feed her family. We never know for sure I agree, but at least can sleep easily by being kind, within reason. x

It was a brilliant vlog again, it made me giggle at 1.42 in and Sharon is matching the bus seats and the guy behind!! I went to Rhodes last year for 4 days from Cyprus and loved it, but after watching Harold Baldr on TH-cam, I realized I missed so much. Planning another trip soon. It really is a stunning place. And you can do the fish thing for free at Cape Grekko.. So glad that at the moment we dont have these scammers.

Loving the Rhodes videos guys, some nice memories, we came off a cruise ship there and had a great time. Sharon the same thing happened to me in Gran Canaria African woman had the bracelet on my wrist i a second, took the money out of my pocket and she swiped the lot from my hand, ruined my day 😔😔

Sharon is like me about the fish, but I’m glad as I have bad feet & not allowed either as I spoke to my podiatrist he said it’s a no no. 😍
