I have been trying to enjoy the "last" week of summer before we can officially start into autumn :)
Last Saturday, I spent a lovely afternoon in my family home's garden eating damson cake and spaghetti and reading Angela Thirkell's "A Double Affair".
Since I had the week off we headed to the Tyrolean Alps for a mini holiday a few days later. At our hotel nestled in the mountains I read Colleen Hoover's "It Starts with US" and John Bude's "The Lake District Murder". Apart from reading I enjoyed good food, mild sunshine and the stunning mountain panorama.

It Ends with Us and It Starts with Us are horrible. Now, It Ends with Us is a movie currently showing in the U.S. I do not live in a bubble, nor am I naive. I know some relationships and families are cruel and harmful, however, I do not choose these types of books or movies for my entertainment. Unfortunately, too many people do.
