My fave will be the samyang jjajang spicy flavour! I love the rest of the samyang spicy series as well like the rose and carbonara and cheese! They are not as spicy as the original one, but still have that spicy kick with a mix of other delicious flavour. Cant believe yall rate the cheese and carbonara so low, maybe they are only for cheese lovers haha
Shin had the fact it was in a cup going against it ( I agree with everything you say about the difference of cup noodles & wraped). Shin Ramyun and Indomie Mi Goreng are the kings.
Paldo spicy seafood ramen is my fav...

is there anyone in eatbook who can at least read Korean words on the packaging and introduce the noodles properly and more informative to the viewers..
also is the noodles cooked exactly to instructions.. i find cooking instant noodles is a Science, the amount of water, the temperature you place the noodle pack in..some argue you add the noodles before it boils, some argue you shld add it after the water boils..

Any Korean convenience store anyhow anyhow got 40 plus types of instant bowl type ramen, not counting small cup and packet, we just say Korea have 80 types of ramen, just whack only typical Singapore arrogance, 14:types then say all!!!!!!!!! Not even enough for a tasting menu!!!!!!

ORIGINAL Shin ramyeon is the most versatile. I will cook a pack, add one table spoon minced garlic, one tea spoon k red pepper paste, a splash of soy sauce, splash of fish sauce, mirin, k sesame oil and abit of sugar. Throw in kimchi, kimchi juice, hydrated mushrooms, luncheon meat, baked beans, ramyeon and whatever you can find in the kitchen and you will have a nice army stew to go with rice. Easy to prepare for a quick dinner meal for the family.
As for the bibimmyeon, I prefer the ottogi brand. Not so sweet, the raw garlic taste not that strong. Won't be so jailat.

You didn’t try Jin Ramyeon Spicy? It’s soooooo good! It’s probably one of my fav! I prefer Jin Ramyeon over Shin Ramyeon personally as I find it more flavourful. ◡̈

Curious to know if the shin ramyeon bought was made in China (seems to be from China as the name stated is "nongshim") or Korea... Perhaps the origin affected the taste too?
The instant cup and packet is totally 2 different taste. Hope eatbook will do a review on the packet one
My current favorite is the AnsungTangmyeon (安城湯面, 안성탕면) because it is quite unique, i'd say? I know it is just beef bone broth but it is just very interesting to me.

I think you have very different palates from Koreans, and even North Americans, because the cheese flavours are super popular here in NA
