I work at Underdog! Great to see this and glad you like it.
Awesome! Please pass along my thanks for a great game!
@@SamHealey6 will do!
It’s so good to have Sam back on DT! He’s the reason I donated to the KS. :)😊
Yeah, this one flew under the radar for me and then it showed up on everybody’s end of year list. It’s design both mechanically and visually is so elegant. 👍
Such a great game for those times where you want a semi-crunchy experience without a ton of brainpower or lengthy setup. This one comes off the shelf very often for us!
Easy to learn and solid mechanics, glad I tested at the library before buying. My main quip is OFTEN simply due to bad luck of what's up at the time of your turn, there simply isn't a good move, nor a way to really provide a chance at a good move. What's out is out and sometimes you're just eating a lousy reset turn. Some way to reset the main cards at a cost, kind of like pinecones in cascadia. A house rule where you can use your pink time gems for other purposes might be a good way to resolve this, despite being not officially in the rule book.
That’s exactly my one con for the game…you just said it better…lol!
Thank you for the review.
Small correction:
The only difference between the KS version and the retail is the solo mode, which was exclusively printed for the KS version (there’s a downloadable PNP version of it).
The mini expansion (Time-Wrap) was announced as exclusive when the ran the campaign, but eventually was added to the retail version.
Thanks for staying frosty! And thanks for being here!
A small correction to your small correction: the 2nd edition of the game (the one with the new box art) apparently also includes the solo mode, so Kickstarter and retail boxes should now have identical contents :)

Well, this makes my "KS Edition" irrelevant, which is a bit of a shame.
@@vladkalinovych934 I feel like this approach is the right way to go about KS - KS should be an "early access" almost, to help fund the game on its early legs. But the final, or ultimate, product should be the same all around imo. This whole fomo way of doing business, like something CMON and the like are so good at, is just bad juju.
This is one of those games I love to play even though I suck at it. 12 plays and only one win! Also got the kickstarter version, beautiful components, great art style and a quick easy gameplay!
Totes agree! Thanks for being here!
13th will be the one!
Our household enjoys this game and Trekking the World. Great games. Not too rule heavy
Like the new cover more
Oh cool. I just had to take a look and see. Has anything else changed in the game besides the cover?
I believe the only other change is that the game’s solo mode (which was originally a Kickstarter exclusive) is now included in the box.
Not a 9, what's holding you back?
The one con I mentioned, frankly. The only thing holding me back from giving it a 9 is how you just get stuck sometimes with lackluster choices.
