It took a while for me to find Hampden but now I have, I feel there will be more room in my rum cupboard for the various marques and maturations coming to the market.
Wray and nephew is around 100 so near the bottom. Smith and cross will be in a vid soon so I’ll give a bit more detail on that vid. The one you want to think about is rum fire which has an ester count of around 550gr/hl so well up the funk scale and is great in cocktails - also a recommendation from myself but you have to like these high ester flavours to want a bottle.
Discovered recently that my wife is a distant relative of Dermot Owen Kelly! And I Love funky rum. What a world.
