I was kinda fine in a dramatic sense of way with how season 2 ended because I trust that Neil has a plan and it was very in character BUT seeing this now makes me feel like we missed out soo bad. 😢
yeah, i'm with you. i'm one of the few who's come around to the other side in the opposite direction of the usual. came out of watching s2 like "phew! that was A LOT. but it felt real and seemed both true to character and faithful to the dramatic tension of the season." now after watching a few fan vids and letting it all settle, i'm a little rankled. this is no idle hearts-and-flowers fanservice we're after. we need JUSTICE for two canonically queer characters who LOVE EACH OTHER DEEPLY. like we could at least get a few moments where they are a bit more unmasked, and on the same page about what their relationship is about.
I just want them to hold hands. It seems (after the kiss) that Crowley might want a physical relationship, but he wouldn't introduce Aziraphale to any of these ideas because it would taint Aziraphale's innocence, which he values.
Im actually curious of this is real or not? Cuz my heart stopped for sec when i heared they gonna rewrite the script themselfs. So im wondering what caused this? Was the original ending that bad? That both actors wanted to rewrite it all on their own? Or is it staged? Like giving me or others an heartattack? Or could possible be the kiss scene they both had to do while they dont want to do at first. Because we all know both actors are good friends of eachother. So im still looking for answers if anyone knows something about it i would like to know.
I hope we get to see them as an actual couple. Like, I'm talking "domestic bliss", and being awkward as they adjust to life as an "us".
