On eBay, there is more of a chance that someone has researched what they are selling, whereas in those other places, a lot of people are just cleaning out attics, etc., for whatever reason and don't really know what they have.

Oddly video games were OK. He also had a large collection of G.I. Joes, but had never actually watched the cartoon.
Someone sold another unopened copy of stadium events in 2016 for 40k. Dude never had the pad. And foundout it in his garage. After missplacing it meaning too return it. Since he couldn't play...
I have a TY bear with a Pompey (Portsmouth FC) logo on it from when they were our shirt Sponsors. It is in a plasic box with a certificate of creation and was signed by our then owner Milan Mandric. I think they used the same Royal blue material for some (as Portsmouth FC play in royal blue) but mine is white. Obviously not worth much but as a Pompey fan it has incredible sentimental value to me.
