I graduated school in 2010 and college in 2015. I carried a 7 subject notes note, lab note, lab coat, pencil case and some xeroxed stuff. for school, ufff, all the textbooks, practical guides and records, class and homework notebooks for each subject, pencil case, geometry box, rough note, guides for each subject. the bag would have weighed half my weight.
Only binder and 3 notebooks ??? We indians have to carry everything that is :- 11 - 13 notebooks ( sometimes extra because the pages of our notebooks end in the middle of the semester) 11 textbooks (the number is more than that because we have workbooks , guides and etc) 2 Pencil pouch 1 for pen,pencils etc and 1 for our colours 1 heavy water bottle Some extra stuff for school like tape , scissors , stapler etc And some other thing too I think American's have it *waaaaayyyy* easier than asian kids *Don't forget India is in Asia* If you didn't know this go and study geography 🫵🏻

My back is like ... 7-8 notebooks first , cz there are 7-8 subjects
Then for each suject we hv 2 books .. And for languages , about 3 thick books .. Then a big thick register for rough work .. alamanac , tiffin , bottle extra paperss and much moree !!

9- Emergency chain(there is a small chain in my bag which holds: Hand sanitizer, Hand cream, Lip balm, Tissue, Handkerchief, Safety pins, Hair tie, Claw clip, Band-Aid, House keys, Cotton+Savlon and lastly some snacks like- Gum, Candy, Chocolates etc
