I think on the issue of the shock shaft retracting back into the cylinder is that if you have it so the shock shaft is being forced out of the cylinder you run the risk of blowing your shocks apart on heavy landings as the pressure created is too much for them to handle. I've read forums of the top cylinder cap blowing out. Experiment with different wt of oils and piston hole sizes. I run 16 hole rear 40wt with 12 hole front 40wt very good hard high jump bashing
i dont get how the shocks get SUCKED up! doesn't it beat the purpose of the shock? this is pissing me off! cause if you pull on the shaft to extend it gets sucked IN not pushed out.
Can anyone tell me what's happening with HPI as a company. They used to be really good there after sales support was the best and LHS always had plenty of stock of almost everything HPI. Now......... All hobby shops are out of stock of almost everything HPI. I havnt sen any kind of HPI Baja in stock anywhere???? Whats going on

wouldnt it be better to use thick oil in the rear shocks so its not like a bed spring ?

3 year old comment i know.. but try rovan parts, its the same .. you still get everything
20 wt on both front and rear is the best and most suitable.
Hilly Safz I done this yesterday and noticed rears are stiff with slow rebound and fronts feel spongy like they have no oil 25w all round
Read the manual. No need to yell, what are you, 12?
40 rear.jus sayin.
This guy is putting me to sleep and he talks like everybody watching is 5yrs old
