Hey everyone! This is my $45 Zada, Hedron Grinder EDH.
This build is a low cost, high power MTG edh commander deck. The goal of this deck is to flood the board with creatures then buff them all using spells.

I feel like Faramir, Prince of Ithilien would be a cool card to build around, with like politics but also maybe aristocrats and skullclamp for the tokens
For sure!
A Yuriko budget deck would be interesting. Yuriko herself is around $7-$8, but most of the rest of the necessities for a Yuriko strategy are quite cheap. Low-CMC evasive creatures, basic Ninjas, top of deck manipulation, high-CMC bombs to abuse with Yuriko triggers, Dimir control pieces and basic removal, etc. I've seen $100 Yuriko lists win at cEDH tables, the deck doesn't need big money cards to be successful.

I would like to see a Sauron, the dark lord aristocrats deck. Pulled a foil one at the prerelease and have been thinking about making a deck for him.

I have been wanting to make this deck for a while to show my group there are other ways to play goblins. (3 players in my group have a krenko deck

Also, dual caster mage actually won't trigger zada. Since you've copied the spell and not cast it, zada's ability won't trigger.
Guttersnipe also won't work that way.

Since i saw you doing mostly mono colored deck profiles. (This video got my interest) i recommend Tinybones trinket thief! The commander it self costs 10$ but everything else can be pretty cheap (just play bunch of vlsc discard cards, and there are even some cool combos that ive seen)! He seems lika fun deck to play (never tried commander format myself) but when i do im going to build him first!

There’s a few good ninjas I might slot in for some of the janky creatures once I get them noteably atsushi and arni metalbrow
If you need any more tips from me about the deck just ask also I don’t mind if you make a video on it
So first I have to say sweet video. Zada is one of my oldest decks and is my favorite commander. It’s always nice coming across someone else’s take on her. You definitely nailed the overall strategy of the deck. One of my favorite win cons is using an infect creature, pump spells and Chandra’s Ignition to kill everyone through poison. When you can’t attack this will get the job done.
One critique I need to make is about the copy spells. Dualcaster Mage and Haze of Rage will not trigger Zada’s copying ability. The copies made from those two cards are never cast and Zada will only trigger when you cast a spell that only triggers her. A card like Mizzix’s Mastery specifically says you may cast a copy of the card so those copies would trigger Zada. I apologize if someone else already pointed this out.

Since everyone else seems to be choosing Commanders from the LOTR set I got to represent my favorite Gwaihir, Greatest of the Eagles! I dont see this bird getting enough love 😢.
Build my favorite Mardu commander, Alesha who Smiles at Death.
I have an Alesha list made, but it isn’t budget. I could pretty easily transfer it over though so we will see
@v0idmtg I get grief from people I play with that my Alesha can be "unfun", looking for toned down version that hopefully still incorporates Master of Cruelties but I guess that depends on the limit you choose to go with.

I personally like adding pinger style creatures and untap spells such as Involuntary Employment as its a death by 1000 cuts. That being said I play her in pauper edh and most of the good tske control and untap are commons.

@@v0idmtg especially with cards that have great etb triggers but bad stats or cards that do smth on attack like demon of loathing or the new witch king bringer of ruin. And could be budget friendly for sure in my opinnion.

You can use rocco, cabaretti caterer as your commander, and have zada and venerated rotpriest with about 10 return to hand spells, and the rest are stuff like saryth that give permanents you control hexproof

@@v0idmtg Very fun X spell commander! Use some tyanids, hydras & untappers and you can copy massive creatures with her multiple times. She copy’s X spells, adds 1/1 tokens and ramps.
Meren of clan nel toth is great. I’ve been considering building her around graveyard recursion and would love to hear your opinion on it. Great vid man and very well thought out. This deck would be nasty

Someone like you should try an Ivy Gleeful Spell thief aura deck. There are a surprising amount of cheap auras that work wonders when doubled. Not to mention with Vesuvan Diplomancy, you can copy the creatures you're placing auras on, which will let you play wide and long. Easily a pretty broken commander if you ask me.
