It was good. General Hospital loved Patti Austin & James Ingram for Luke & Holly and the song “Baby Come to Me” became a huge hit because it was on GH. They then gave “How do you keep the music playing” to Holly and Robert, along with Jeffrey Osborne‘s “The Greatest Love Affair.” These were legitimate songs on their albums.
Robert did love Holly more than he ever loved anyone. With other women....ie. Anna, it was just like saying lines. But Tristan put LOTS of feeling in what he said to Holly. And Robert always said he never loved anyone as much as he loved Holly. He meant it. His love for Holly was not as a result of dating her, getting to know her better, etc. like two people who were trying to start a romance based on mutual attraction. It snuck up on him. Like something so natural, yet sudden, that caught him by such surprise that he really didn't know what had happened to him. He never thought he could love a human being that much. It always showed on screen.
Aw, Holly remembering her time with Robert was sweet and sad! I love being able to watch these older clips of these characters as I wasn't watching when these had first aired. It's sad watching these now though when you think of how much of GH has changed, and how different it was even here.Mac's hardly on, and we haven't seen bobbie in quite a while, and I agree. fix this ethan story, and Make him robert and Hollys!
Holly remembering her and Robert together aww! :( Bobbie Mac isn't clinging to false hope! And Mac doesn't need to go to the funeral Holly! There shouldn't BE a funeral!! Holly: If you don't go, one day you will be sorry you didn't say goodbye properly. Me: No Holly. Mac won't be sorry for not going to the funeral to say goodbye! :)
Bring Holly back as the Holly we loved - with Robert - if there is a son - let it be Robert and Holly's son - don't insult us by rewriting history - Robert and Holly -- Forever - BTW Ethan is no great joy!!!!!!! I love Anna but not with Robert!!!!!!!
Is it just me or was the soap music really good back in the day?

Mac was (and still is) a great piece of HUNK!!! What a hot man!

Robert and Holly were arguing over Anna and how Robert always put her and Robin first
thanks
The world has never been the same since the Scorpio's died back in '92.
Mac is so right, they aren't dead. Robert was so selfish in faking his death for 13 years. The writers totally messed this up!!

@Sueb91 April of 1992. They waited about a month to *kill* them.
when did this air in 1992? I get fuzzy on how long after TR left the show they officially 'killed' off the characters....
