The thing I probably love the most about ATEEZ is that they each have their own unique styles and so when they perform each of them tells a bit different story while also working seamlessly as part of the group. Like honestly you can watch all of their fancams of the same performance and get 9 slightly different experiences - 1 for each member and the 9th as all 8 coming together as a whole. (I just did that few days ago with one of the Inception performances & it's truly amazing.) And yes, Mingi was on hiatus due anxiety issues for 8 months and just came back couple of weeks ago! 99% of the time if you hear someone belting in ATEEZ' song, it is indeed Jongho. Though that doesn't mean the other vocalists cant hit beautiful high notes, Jongho just is on his own level and the rest of the members never shut up about his voice either which is only right^^ As for bias, have fun discovering whether you have one, I know many atinys dont bc it's too hard to pick. Im double biased by the eldest 2, Hongjoong and Seonghwa, and having double biases seems also be quite usual among atiny :D

im so glad your affection for them is growing, honestly as much as i love their music, its the relationships between the members that got me hooked. and their personalities as individuals. theyre all so sweet and loving but in very different ways and willing to own up to and fix their mistakes. example: during a christmas vlive, wooyoung said he was sad yeosang didnt want to spend as much time with him anymore, and before yeosang could say anything, other members stepped in and told wooyoung that he'd been ditching yeosang for san a lot recently and yeosang was clearly feeling hurt by it and no longer making an effort. ultimately it came down to them basically having different love languages, and wooyoung felt that yeosang should KNOW woo loved him, where yeosang needed it said. the misunderstanding was cleared up and both wooyoung and san have mad a noticeable effort to always include yeosang when they can because he IS a lot shyer than them and wont say what he needs. they also attract a weird amount of homophobes saying they wanted to get into them but cant because theyre too gay?? like bitch let men be affectionate who cares if theyre fruity
San is my bias in the group...he has been since way before they debuted. When KQ released their pre debut dance videos that they did in L.A. he stood out then....and then I watched their series about the training in L.A. and I fell for the rest of them. Even the 9th member that trained with them and was actually in their pre pre debut song "From". Unfortunately, I can't recall his name, (and I hate myself for it). From the moment of debut San has stood out on stage, it Luke a switch is flipped when he steps onto any stage. Many ATINY including me like to refer to San as "San"tan", or Demon San. One of the things that you will learn is they love Halloween. Every year many groups do live stages in costume for Halloween. But since their debut they always take it up a notch. The first year it was them busking on the streets of Seoul. They did "Pirate King" as zombies. Last year they did a older song from a group called Turbo called "Black Cat" with the original singer of the song, and they just did another collab recently with him. His name is Jongkook. And if u have seen any variety show from Korea you may have seen him. He is very hard to miss...sorry, the point is that ATEEZ have known for their Halloween preformances. Please check them out. Their was one stage that they did where San was made up like the mummy character from Tom Cruise's version of "The Mummy." I'm am so sorry I was majorly rambling on....but I am so proud of ATEEZ and how far they have come, with all the room and potential to go much more...so glad to see a new ATINY...welcome to the brilliant and crazy, crackhead world of ATEEZ. Oh one last thing, they weren't kidding about how competitive they are...it was Mingi that had "choked" Jungho. It was a very intense game of Mafia. Just another reason to love these guys...
Oh btw did you know ATEEZ is having comeback next Monday? (August 16) They'll release collaboration album "Season songs" with Kim Jongkook (senior singer from 90's group Turbo). They met him on music show Immortal Songs where they covered Turbo's Black Cat Nero and Jongkook was very impressed (and they won that competition) and the new mini album will have 2 brand new songs and also that cover song^^

hi! i understand that you're delving deeper into ateez as a whole and it's wonderful getting to know these 8 wonderful souls but it'd be incredible if you checked out personal content that ateez puts out on their youtube channel like hongjoong's "by. hongjoong" content! while every member has different video content boasting different things ranging from TMI news to covers of kdrama OSTs, the reason why i'm specifically pointing out hongjoong's is because he decided to start his youtube content specifically for him to cover and re-interpret songs in his own way. hongjoong not only covers them, he writes his own lyrics and adds his own twists to them while still retaining the original message of the songs and paying tribute to the original artists! so far he has 5 covers! #1 was space oddity by david bowie, #2 was purple rain by prince, #3 was black or white by his role model michael jackson (he included the behind the scenes of the production of the video as well! what inspired him what he wanted listeners to take away from this cover, what he wanted to express and also he takes heavy participation in the directing of every video produced! not just the song itself but the video production
