It's actually the opposite. Pyro gets weaker because savior+ players have high crit resistance & crit dmg reduction. Meanwhile it's difficult to get high debuff dmg resistance. If you don't crit (applies to pioneer boss as well), what's the point of having higher crit dmg?
I beg to differ. Aquamage definitely have powerful damage only if the target is not moving at all. PvP is dynamic and despite weaker damage I can put all that Pyro damage in couple of seconds. What I am trying to convey is that damage alone is not a deciding factor. Instant skill impact has its own advantage.
It’s kind of easy to get opponents to not move, you could use cc moves after they use some of their movement pets, and you could use your own pets to help out to an extent
