I really like the My Team game mode. I just tried a few weeks ago on F1 2020, and it really makes you want to complete all the practice sessions to test everything and work on the car. Fighting just to make it into the points is a lot a fun.

My Bahrain was a cracking race as well. Seven laps in I was in 14th with Alonso behind me. He locked up or had his brakes fail going into turn 10.....he hit me square in the ass at full speed lol. Completely tore the front off his alpine. Made a pitstop under the safety car and amazingly my car had 0 damage. Put on hard tires and went for the undercut. Ended up 9th. Onto Spain and my car fell off a cliff. Struggled to hold 17th.
I’m a guy who loves playing the F1 game and I race on 100 level AI, the struggle is what makes it good and many other TH-camrs I watch, they do a lot of seasons and make it hard for themselves, a little bit of struggle for this first season may be good for the series
Yes I'd say definitely keep it on a reasonably hard difficultly then you have something to work towards its much more satisfying than just having it handed to you.

I recently switched to manual gearing and you go so much faster !! You can turn on a Manual gear up sound in the audio so you know when to gear up since you can’t look down all the time while driving
I like the idea of struggling. I feel like a win or a placing would be well earned and create a great, nail biting and griping series. Similar to how The Show played out
Defo stay the same level, cause the struggle for points won’t be for too long I’m sure, and also the struggle in the first ten races or so it’s always so rewarding getting in the points
